General Info

Dr. David Weinstein is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in sports medicine, shoulder and elbow disorders, and knee surgery. Dr. Weinstein is a graduate of the University of Colorado School of Medicine where he performed his orthopedic surgery residency. He completed fellowship training at Columbia New York Orthopedic Hospital in New York City in shoulder and elbow reconstruction, and completed an additional fellowship in orthopedic traumatology in Switzerland and Germany. Dr. Weinstein practices in Colorado Springs and is also an associate clinical professor at the University of Colorado Department of Orthopedic Surgery in Denver where he is an avid researcher and educator. He has published numerous papers, and has given lectures throughout the United States as well as internationally. Dr. Weinstein recently contributed to the development of a shoulder replacement system to treat shoulder arthritis.
