I went to this store to return a Windows RT tablet because I wasn't satisfied with it. The employees bombarded my girlfriend and I with all sorts of questions. They tried to get me to buy a $300 more laptop!! All I wanted to do was return it and wait to do more research on what I needed.
It was a very uneasy situation and they knew I was obviously upset with what they were doing to us. One guys name is Chaz and the Microsoft Rep was Michael.
Never will I shop at Best Buy again. Felt like we were at a car dealership, buying a car. Get a real job, by the way...
Horrible customer service! Bought a new TV based on their recommendation along with their protection plan, and within 6 weeks it completely broke. The only solution they could offer was repairs that will take three weeks or so if we are lucky. They refused to replace a faulty product, and their expensive protection plan? What a joke! Buy from a store who backs their products - avoid this place.
We bought the Geek Squad tech support 6 months ago and have had nothing but problems!!! The first time I brought my laptop in to have it cleaned, just cleaned mind you they didn't do ANYTHING!! They never called me to pick it up and when I finally just went in they said they called me at a number that wasn't mine. Then the guy couldn't even find my laptop. When I tried again to take it in they again didn't do anything and still didn't call me and said they called what was once again not my number! I gave them the correct number at least 3 times. The third time I brought it in the memory card was acting up, so it was making this beeping noise, the guy turned it on listened for about two seconds closed it and said it was toast that I should buy a new one............took it to my school and the IT guy had my laptop working just fine in about 2 minutes. So I paid 200 dollars for zero support crappy customer service, and pissy overworked employees. Never goin there again
I went to Best Buy recently to return a printer. I explained to them that I owned a business & I used a printer everyday. I told them that I could not feed card stock through the printer. They took my printer & printed on regular printer paper & then told me that the printer worked fine & they would have to send it away for inspection. I asked them if I could have a loaner & a Mr. Manny who was very rude told me that he did not have a loaner. I explained to him that I purchased this printer for my business with a EXTENDED WARRANTY for the reason if it did not work properly then I would never be without a pronter. MR. MANNY rudely told me that I should read my warranty more carefully & didn't seem to care. I will never go back to this Best Buy. I got in my car went to the Best Buy on N. Academy, returned my printer, had GREAT customer service & left the store within 20 minutes!
I heard alot of bad things about Best Buy, but every time I go in to Best Buy, every clerk I've dealt with went out of their way to make sure I was satisfied and all my questions were answered. I was in here about a month ago when I purchased a new cell phone. The salesman that helped my spent almost 45 min trying to get some pictures from my old phone to the new phone. I didn't mind the wait and he didn't have to do it, but I was highly impressed that he took the time to try.
