I'll try to keep this short and sweet. This company makes horrible business decisions, they are invested in the wrong kind of customer, and they have absolutely no idea what customer service is.1. Horrible business decisions - they offer a $11 groupon. If you offer someone $20 worth of food, of which you only get to keep $5.50, and expect to get a high quality consumer, you set yourself up for failure. Not only that, but it makes me feel completely invaluable as a customer who spent $50 cash and got treated like crap.2. What kind of restaurant wants a dine-in customer that costs money - overhead for lights, environmental conditions, cleaning, napkins, staff to serve them, and public restrooms - but doesn't honor a take-out customer who literally just wants to pay for the privilege of your food and nothing more? I'll tell you this much - one customer has a higher profit margin then the other. Why on earth would you ever want to make that customer suffer a poor experience?3. Customer service means making your customer happy and grateful that they chose to give you money. It does not mean questioning your customer when they tell you that their order was wrong; it means that when they bring the wrong order back to you it gives you the opportunity to recover the situation with an apology and an incentive to use you again and honor them for driving your incorrectly prepared food to you despite the error being yours. It does not mean you make your customer feel guilty over your mistakes.Buy the $11 groupon, and eat there so that you can make them spend more than the $5 you bring in revenue. Otherwise, don't bother to give them money for anything else, it's not worth it - heaven forbid you give them $52 and live to regret every penny.

This is an amazing place! Very sophisticated. We took our kids ages 11-16 and they loved it. They also know how to act in a formal dinning atmosphere. Prices are right in line with most top-notch chophouses.
Visited there for the first time, 1st we went to the original store and it was closed even know the sign on door said open, so then we went to the one by acacia park, we got in kings chef to find out that they DO NOT accept CREDIT/DEBIT CARDS and than they told me that they own a ATM that we can go get money and be charged a 3 doller fee. So the restaurant owner is making money off the people eating there by charging to use your card at their own ATM. I have never and will never eat at Kings Chef and will pass the word around.
Was looking for a mini detail for my truck and lunch. Had a great lunch while waiting for my truck to be cleaned and detailed. Extremely happy with the price, food and job that was done. Truck looks like new inside and out and I walked out full as well.
Love, love, love!!! There isn't a better place in town for wings, or people!!!! If you haven't been, you should go!!!
me and my wife love the biscuits and sausage gravy. Kids get the Mickey Mouse pancake and we also get a giant cinnamon roll and we allways have food to take home. there prices are reasonable. For lunch I get the Reuben which is good.
Absolutely HORRIBLE!! I called over a week in advance to make a reservation for a large party and was told 'we don't take reservations we do first come first serve', I said 'even for a party of 10?' and was told 'you can call an hour ahead and we can set it up then'. So I called an hour ahead to let them know and they did NOTHING! The guy who answered the phone, he said his name was John (found out that was a lie) acted like it bothered him to answer the phone and just said 'we'll figure it out' - didn't ask for a name or anything. When we got there we were told 'oh we had some other parties come in before your party and we took them first', I asked 'even though I called like you told me so it would be ready?', she said 'yes, we take first come first serve, even large parties'. Then absolutely horrible, rotten service and attitudes from every one of the staff once we got there. Will never, ever go back again and will never, ever recommend this place to anyone.
Over cooked dry turkey, raw prime rib, runny potatoes, terriblw stuffing, no pumpkin pie, loud TV football, toilets out of service, cheap decor, all for $40+ per person.
Super great food...prices very reasonable. Prime rib is tender and juicey.Salads are very good and fresh, onion rings are different but very good and the service is top notch...A must try place. AAA+++
If you're looking for cold food, forgetful waitresses, and a rude manager, this is the place for you! I went there with my son hoping for a nice breakfast. The server was friendly, but slow. Our food came out in about 10 minutes. My son's food was hot & steaming, but mine was cold. The waitress was nice about it and had another one made. While I was waiting, I decided to pour some more coffee from the carafe. There was only enough coffee in there for 1/4 cup. Again, I called the waitress over and she said she was sorry she had forgotten to tell me they had to brew more. So why bring out an empty carafe? The remade food came out hot, but by the time it did my son was already done eating. The waitress brought a new carafe of coffee, but it was not the same kind that I had ordered originally. When I went to pay I asked for a discount on the food that was brought out cold. After waiting 7 minutes, the manager came out & said he would take a few dollars off, but really didn't understand how the food could be cold. He actually implied that I was lying about it. I told him I didn't know as I was not the one who had cooked it. He took a whopping 4 dollars off the total. My son had wanted to try that restaurant for a while, and was really looking forward to it. While the food itself tasted good, the rest of the experience was so poor I will not be returning there ever again.
