I switched from contacts back to glasses a little over a year ago. My eyes started hurting and my neck, as well, but it was pretty gradual so I figured my eyes were just getting worse as I'm getting older. This morning I couldn't take it anymore. I called around and Eyemart Express (or the optometrist next door to it, rather) was the only place where I could get an updated eye exam today. My last eye exam, I'm ashamed to admit, was 3 years ago and not in town. The optometrist uses some type of scanner to figure out your prescription...turns out I was wearing a pair of glasses with a prescription way too strong for me. I went next door to Eyemart Express, found 2 pairs I loved (their selection is fabulous), and they were ready in 23 minutes. I cannot get over how, hours later, my eyes and neck are both NOT hurting! The salesman was super nice, as was the optometrist. Sure, I spent more than the coupon claimed but that's because I chose more expensive frames and wanted a couple extras on my lenses. Still, I got an excellent deal - less than $300 for both pairs. At the end of the day, glasses are a complete investment in your overall health - a payment like this for two is beyond reasonable.

Horrible, Horrible Place !! Dr Brown who examined me was rude and unpleasant. Staff lazy and unorganized. I was waiting over 2 hours and after employee have problem how to find my insurance information on computer i lost patience and left
I visited eye mart express last month to pickup 2 pairs of glasses. After choosing frames I then learned that instead of being ready in one hour, they would take 4 hours, so I waited in my car, then in the store since I lived so far away. To my dismay 1 pair of glasses was scratched, then I found out they had to order a replacement lender which would take 2 weeks. After about a week I called the store to ask for a refund, instead they offered to let me get a new pair of glasses. Now I'm stuck with 2 pairs of glasses that cause my eyes to strain to see..... If getting glasses in an hour from this place is so difficult, why don't they shut this store down. And fire the manager that acted like she did not see me the whole time, not once did she even speak to me, but was quick to step outside the store and listen as I explained my plight to another customer.....
