The Mane Attraction Hair Studio

THEY DID NOT SHOW UP TO DO OUR HAIR!!! I was the Maid of Honor for a wedding on 9/13/15. They were supposed to be at the hotel in St. Charles, MO at noon, and by 12:45 they still weren't there. They refused to answer the phone, and after myself and the wedding planner made numerous phone calls trying to track them down, we decided we had to call in emergency services from other salons. At 2:30, the owner of the salon FINALLY called me, and tried to come to our aide, when we were supposed to be ready at 3:15. The owners excuse for not showing up? SHE FORGOT! SERIOUSLY. HOW HORRIBLE IS THAT? A day later, she informed the bride, my best friend, that she would reimburse her for all the emergency hair and makeup services other salons provided, and now she is REFUSING to pay for everything she promised she would. I cannot express how upset the bride is/was, and how much added stress was piled on to her wedding day because the Mane Attraction Hair Studio dropped the ball, and now won't take responsibility for their actions. They provided no phone numbers for contact on the day of the event, had no valid reason for missing the appointment, and managed to damage their reputation further by not reimbursing the bride, Kayla. The wedding was still beautiful, and Kayla's hair and makeup looked AMAZING, but it WAS NOT due to their services. DO NOT use this salon. They may forget you, because apparently that's an ok thing to do.

I have never seen a salon do such a terrible thing as they did to my 16 yr. old granddaughter. She left with crunchy breaking hair. They should be ashamed of what they did to her. She has been bawling her eyes out. I hope no one else gets treated that way. She had beautiful hair. It's unbelievable. M

I've been going to The Mane Attraction for 8 years. Carla is the owner and my stylist. I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. Not only is she a great person who runs a great business, she is an awesome stylist. Every cut and color is just what I want. Even though she has 30 years of experience, she still stays on top of new trends and techniques. Give her a try.

I can't say enough about how wonderful Carla and her staff are. They simply hands down do a wonderful job ! We have been in the salon when it was packed during Prom & Homecoming and things ran very smoothly. Carla and her staff worked to make sure my daughters hair and makeup were finished on time and that she was happy !! Let me also say that my daughter has some pretty long hair which is very hard to curl or manage up or down. Carla has done some wonderful hair do's for her that have always held up beautfully ! Our experience has simply been wonderful Carla and the staff work hard to ensure everyone leaves happy : )

I love being at the mane attraction. It's a good atmosphere the staff is super nice and welcoming.  I as a young intern learned a lot from the stylist especially Carla and Valerie. They were both so welcoming when I approached them about interning there. I have a passion for hair and in school you don't get to see as much as you should nor express yourself. So coming to the mane attraction was a good feeling i got a lot of hands on  and got to experience new things and I couldn't thank the lady's enough. There's a lot of talent in that salon!!

Everyone at Union Station was super accommodating. The wedding coordinator, Jennifer, was amazing, calm, and so quick to respond to millions of emails from me making sure everything would be perfect. The staff serving the food and drinks, and the staff that welcomed us into the hotel was great as well. Everything ran smoothly and was the best night ever. Highly recommend Union Station for any party that needs planning. They do it all. :)



Westrich Photography did an amazing job. The photographers were quick to get the job done and we all had fun during the pictures. I definitely have high quality pictures that I will remember for the rest of my life. Great personality and very professional. Loved him 



The Spectrum Band was more band that I could have ever hoped for! Tim, the band contact, is so patient and responds to emails so fast. He is always so helpful! The Spectrum Band was ABSOLUTELY THE BEST band I’ve ever heard, and every guest said the same thing! Professional, Fun, and Great Sound Quality….picking this band was the best choice we made for the wedding.



The Mane Attraction staff did the best job ever. They came to our venue, a little early too, and got right to work. All of my bridesmaid’s hair and my hair looked absolutely amazing….I was getting compliments on my hair all night and still am! I also loved their air brush makeup, made us all look fabulous! I am so happy I made the great decision to have them do everyone’s wedding day hair and make-up. They were so much fun to work with!

Hollywood worthy salon right in Collinsville!!! I have been going to this salon for well over 10 years and have NEVER left disappointment. I began using the services of Carla approximately five years ago. Her knowledge is second to none! I am always treated with respect, receive her full attention and listen to all of her recommendations. She travels the country keeping up to date on new styles and trends. She and her staff are OUTSTANDING! Collinsville is lucky to have such a hair salon and I wouln't dream of letting another salon touch my hair...from trims, cuts, highlights, color and formals. They have provided exceptional service and I don't foresee that changing. I would highly recommend this business, and have in the past, to anyone wising to find a professional, top of the line salon!
