Ballew Bridal

Ballew Bridal is where I bought my wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses. All of the workers there are very friendly. They were very helpful when it came to listening to what I liked and didn't like. I had a great experience dress shopping with them!

Everyone at Ballew was wonderful to work with from start to finish. Mrs. Ballew is truly a magician with dress alterations. She spent so much time with us at each fitting and worked tirelessly until every detail was perfect. My dress was gorgeous and felt like it had been custom made by the time she was finished!

I only bought my wedding dress here, but I loved it. I don't live in Memphis, but I wanted to buy my dress there so I wouldn't have to take it on a plane. Less than a month before my wedding I had my first fitting. They assured me my dress could be altered in that amount of time. I didn't get the chance to go back to Memphis until a week before the wedding. In the three weeks in between I lost about 10-15 lbs due to stress. Mrs. Ballew, the owner, made my dress a priority and had it re altered in two days.

I bought my wedding gown from Ballew 2, which is Ballew's overstock store. My experience with them was great. When I bought the dress, there was a small rip in the skirt. Ms. Ballew fixed it and steam cleaned the gown at no extra cost before I picked it up. When it was time for my fittings, I saw Ms. Ballew at the regular Ballew location and also had a positive experience. The prices she charged for alterations were reasonable, the work was done well, and the timeframe for completing the work was pretty short. On the day of my wedding, the gown was gorgeous!

They were so great and easy to work with. I ended up finding my dress somewhere else that was cheaper and Ballew came back and said they'd match the price - and they did! The alterations were amazing and it was worth every penny. Ask for Misty - she's an amazing sales associate and was so helpful. The dresses are unique and specialized for you - this is NOT David's Bridal.

Starting off my experience of looking for the perfect wedding dress was fine. But after you give them your money they have no more interest. My dress was not cheap by far! After my dress was paid in full i went to try it on one last time. Ballew the owner told me she would press my dress and said to pick it up the next day. Still the next day which was my wedding day, it was wrinkled. I had to wait for her to iron my dress then she told me to go and buy a steamer and do it myself. Ballew with her awful service will never get my money again. Anybody who goes there think twice about ballew bridal. Once you give them your nonrefundable money its a wrap. Your service goes down from there.

Our original lady we had an appointment with was unavailable so they put us with some one else who made it ovb she was not suppose to have us today and we were not important. Dresses selection for our beach theme wedding was few. We gladly walked away with nothing.

Ballew was a wonderful blessing! They have more beautiful dresses to choose from than all the others combined. From the moment we walked in, my daughter the bride and my 2 other daughters (maids of honor), we were greeted by Suzannah Smith. She has been a blessing from God to us. My daughter was overwhelmed but Suzannah knew what to do. My daughter said from that moment she did not want anyone to help her but Suzannah. Suzannah was even willing to come in on her day off if it was the only day we could get back to the store. ( we live 2 hours away) She knew exactly what and how to work with my daughter. She is so sweet and so genuine. All 3 of my daughters and myself feel like she will now be a friend always. To be a part of someone's special day like that, she was precious. No where else did we go where anyone really wanted to find my daughter HER DRESS. But Ballew did and Suzannah did. OUR WHOLE EXPERIENCE WAS TO BE TREASURED AND WE WILL NEVER FORGET IT. FYI I have 2 more to go and BALLEW WILL BE OUR HOME. WE WILL BE BACK. I have and will continue to tell anyone and everyone I can BALLEW IS THE BEST. Selection, staff, courtesy, kindness and patience. Ballew has it all.

No appointment necessary!! That pretty much says it all. They are very nice and accomodating, and let you do your own thing and browse throught the dresses, which is alot more than I can say about many other bridal shops!
