Reliable Oil

Woman who answered the phone was rude, found a company with cheaper prices, and went with the cheaper company and the woman in the office stated that she wouldn't cancel the order because they already charged the card before they delivered the order. Terrible customer service.

Said they would restart my furnace and would contact me but after calling them back they refused to service my furnace. Got R&W heating they did a great job

We used this company to make a delivery of oil. Sounds simple? Not so much. We paid them by credit card over the telephone & arranged the date. My boiler needed to be started so I left the bulkhead door open to my cellar & the gate unlocked to our backyard because I was going to be at work & they couldn't tell me approximately when the delivery would be made.



I got a call at work that the delivery man couldn't open the gate. I explained to the woman how to open the gate (a simple latch on a chain link fence). About 10 minutes later I got another call saying he still couldn't get in. I again explained how to open the gate & told them he could also go over to the right side of the yard where the fence is only 2 feet tall & step over it. As a last resort, I told them to take down a panel of the fencing as it was only 30 something degrees & even colder in the house! I was told that their drivers don't climb fences & that they don't take down fences! The fence is only 2' tall, you don't have to climb it, my dog can hop it! The gate is also so easy to open, that if I don't have the lock on it, my dog can open that too!





I didn't get a call back & came home to find they had made the oil delivery, but hadn't started the boiler! We had NO heat & it was FRIGID cold inside! I called the oil company & they were closed. I called them the next day & a VERY rude woman (THE OWNER!) told me that they don't climb fences & driver couldn't open the gate. She said it would now cost $125 to come back out & start the boiler! Originally it was $25!!



Not only were they VERY, VERY rude, but they left a new customer without heat & didn't bother to let me know. I have hot water radiators for heat, so I ran the risk of bursting pipes, but they didn't care at all. Instead they tried to scam me for an extra $100 to start the boiler & blamed the whole thing on me, their customer. And they didn't even offer a simple apology for my family being left in the cold & having to go find a new company (who started it for free! Thank you All Phase Heating & Plumbing!!!) to come out that day. The new company had NO problem with the same gate & called me to let me know it was started & I came home to a warm house!



Reliable? They are anything but...Unreliable RUDE Oil Company is much more accurate!!
