Was a better place to live before Shelley left. Now nothing gets done. I have multiple problems with my apartment, including mold in the walls, appliances that have stopped working, and promises from the landlord for new appliances for over a month now. She doesn't open the office, she doesn't answer calls or texts, she just ignores the tenants, and the new maintenance makes excuses for anything that goes wrong. It's too bad Shelley left. I liked these apartments while she was here.

Not happy with these apartments. Boyfriend and I needed a place asap and this was the only place with an open spot. We paid a large amount of money (too large) per month for a small apartment. Not to mention, I could hear EVERYTHING through the cheaply built walls. I understand that living in an apartment, it's always something to deal with, but I could hear the guy upstairs piddling into his toilet bowl water when I was brushing my teeth, and their phone vibrating on the upstairs kitchen counter when I was in my kitchen. Not to mention the rude management, brushing off any issue you had with "not our problem"'s and "nothing we can do"'s. To make things worse, we paid over 1,200 in deposits and- yes we had a spot on the carpet the dog got to- but they said we had excessive staining throughout the entire apartment (didn't even try to shampoo- which by the way is against the lease for us to shampoo ourselves). We had the regular wear and tear carpet stains-nothing out of the usual. They charged us to get brand new carpet throughout the WHOLE APARTMENT. We ended up being charged over 650 for repairs. Absolutely ridiculous. Will not recommend to anybody.
These apartments are way overpriced, considering that they were thrown together with the cheapest materials and very shoddy work. The management are snobs. What amenities do they have to offer? Fitness center? No, the couple cheap pieces of equipment in a room the size of your living room is not a fitness center. Dog park? It's just an awkwardly shaped corner of the property that they couldn't build on. Covered parking? Mine was up the hill behind another building. They'll be very warm and friendly before you sign the lease, politely cold and condescending after you move in, and will show their true character once you give them move out notice. They will get as creative as possible to run the bill up to not only justify keeping our deposit but claim that we 'owed' them almost $500. That was the cleanest I've ever left an apartment and it was also the first time that I didn't get at least a portion of my deposit back.
Shelly is the absolute best manager I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. She was so helpful in assisting in my move from CA to ID. I absolutely LOVE how prompt they are with any repairs, questions, and how cleanly the complex is. If I could rate this 100, I would. I highly recommend this apartment complex.
Moved here because they allow to full grown dogs. If there were other places in the area that did this I would leave. The managers are terrible every time you go to them with a problem they say the same thing every time that they are understaffed and their not sure when they can get to the problem. Their Garages are not automatic... Some of you might say to yourself I don't care but when your paying extra for the things you don't want to have to get out of the car every day after work just to put the car away. It just blows me away first time seeing an apartment complex with garages that were not electric. Theres other annoying things like the mailing address that confuses delivery men or how the interior of these apartments must have been designed by idiots because the way they use space is just stupid. Any ways if I can find another place I will leave immediately should never have moved here.
When I moved to Idaho, I was first living in a motel. I found Ironwood Apartments, and I must say I was amazed at how quick, and understanding the landlord was. She kept in touch for nearly 2 weeks on the status of our application, and future apartments. We love living here. The management connects with your on a friend level, less of a business level. I Love it. Any problems you might be having in your life, you can simply talk to her and work something out. She's amazing. If your honest with her, she will help you. For first time renters, this is amazing management that has made our first apartment astounding. If your planning on moving to CDA, I highly recommend these apartments. The reviews show this apartments reputation. All positive reviews and one negative review. I must say, they must have really treated the manager bad, because she has always treated my girlfriend, and myself with firm respect. Excellent place, quiet, membership to gym, and amazing management. 5 stars from us.
This is a great place to live! Its central to everything you need for living and close to downtown summer fun. The property is maintained decently and the units come with washers and dryers. The bonus is a free membership to peak within walking distance for those who like to stay fit. The manager is down to earth and up to date on all the housing laws. She often goes out of her way to assist the people here when she can. She has done an amazing job of CLEANING HOUSE since taking over the position of landlord and the only people who have a complaint about her are those that have been asked to leave based on their poor lifestyle habits or choices. It was a great place to begin with and is continuing to improve under her management daily. If your looking for a nice, quality and quiet environment with friendly, caring staff then Ironwood is the place to live!
The Apartment Manager is rude!!! She talks about tenants and makes false judgements about people who visit people who live there. The place isn't a bad place to live but management needs to be changed!!!
The new manager is friendly and the maintenance is fast. This is a quiet place to live. They provide washer/dryers and air conditioning. Iron Wood Apts also gives you a membership to Peak Athletic Club. This place is close to everything. Grocery, hospital/medical district, shopping and Centennial Trail. A few more dollars than the neighboring apartments but so worth it!
