Scammers. I move every five-eight months (I've moved a total of 52 times so far) and this was my first horrible moving experience ever. UHaul moved my truck location THE DAY of moving (without telling me, even though I had made my reservation weeks in advance) to a location that was 15 minutes away from my house, even though the original location was only two minutes away from my house. They did not reimburse me for the milage since they moved my reservation over 20+ total extra miles away. The man (BILLY) at the Uhaul location insisted that a roundtrip would be cheaper because he would give me thirty free miles to bring the truck back instead of dropping it oneway. So I agree to do a roundtrip, spending more money in gas on the rental truck and my actual car. I drop the truck off a few hours later and had the receptionist sign my paper that I had dropped it off. I had shown up, in person, a couple days later to talk to them about the error for overcharging me, Billy had been incredibly rude about the matter. He said, "I wasn't even there, I would never agree to that. I'm not even allowed to do that". IT WAS THE SAME MAN. I am 100% sure he was the one who was standing there while a woman rang up my credit card info. So instead of just doing the one way trip like I had originally planned, I ended up paying extra money, and wasted over an extra two hours of driving time to bring the rental truck back. I am extremely livid with Uhaul for not at least fixing the extra charge of THEM moving my location the day of. I am actually moving again in two months and will not be using Uhaul for this move or any of my future moves!
Stay far, far away. I'm not going back. Bad area, especially at night when all kinds of crazy stuff goes on there you don't want to be a part of. Owners are rude Iranians or something with no clue what polite service is. And if you expect to pay the price on the big sign, have lots of cash; the pump price for credit AND debit is 10 cents a gallon more. Find another station. The Mobil station up around the corner on 524 isn't as cheap (so it costs you a whopping 30 cents more on a fillup), but the area near the Publix is safer and the people running it are friendly Americans.
