We rented the house directly behind the restaurant for our wedding and hired Taco City to cater it. We couldn't have been happier with the food and the service that Joel and his crew provided. They also supplied our beer and alcohol and frozen rum runners too. Joel even went above and beyond by putting a tarp on the patio roof at the house when the owner didn't come through for us. Its safe to say that our wedding would have been a disaster without Joel and Taco City. Everybody loved the food and the service and we stayed mostly dry. :-) Thanks again Joel for saving the day.

Our first time eating at Taco City. WE LOVED IT! Everything on our plate was so fresh and delish! Will visit again for sure!
Called in for a pickup order. The lady hung up. Tried calling again 3 times, no answer. Worst service ever.
Horrible service, cold food, and a dishonest owner/manager - not a good combination. As a local, I take pride in the service we provide in Cocoa Beach. I have never had cold cheese dip served and then taken back to the kitchen for a simple reheat. Our waitress overbilled us and claimed we ordered something that we did not order. Then, when we asked for the difference to be removed, the manager was rude, claiming he was the owner and he would not correct the bill. Let me just say that we will not return. This is not a place for LOCALS to eat. I would rather drive to Palm Bay than to be mistreated in my own town. Too bad because before the owner changed the place was really nice.
Another americanized mexican style place (similar to Dos Cantinas). I think they purport Tex-Mex, but not even close. Lots of chili (a la hormel) thrown on top of things along with lots of cheese and none of the tex-mex style spicing (lots of sour cream in quacamole is a sin that brings the death penalty in texas/northern mexico). A nice social place for a beer, but if you want traditional mexican, tex-mex style - go elswhere.
OK beach mex place with americanized mex. Too bad there really isn't any authentic mex beachside in the space coast area.
Taco City Rocks! I love the Chicken Chings; rolled in a crispy pastry with guacamole! They are served in adorable rolls surrounding the guacamole like a flower. The presentation is awesome and the taste is fabulous! I have never had anything like them anywhere, and I have had Mexican food in Texas, California, and Tijuana! Great Tex-Mex!Bobby the owner is more than a gracious host and Liz is one of the sweetest ladies! The staff is very friendly! Definitely a home style atmosphere right off the ocean!
