While the selection was wonderful, the customer service/interaction was horrible and directly discriminatory. My daughter and I visited the store the afternoon of March 3, 2017 after receiving a lovely spa in the area, we went in the store in search of particular item and browse (I've always been a huge fan of Greetings & Readings, love to browse all the really neat gifts) We both noticed that every isle we went down a sales woman (different ones) would come over to "straighten" something in the area we were in, this happened the entire time we were there. I found it very odd that as soon as we walked toward the escalator (after the purchase) the sales lady went back behind the counter. NO ONE went over to the group of school girls gathered around one of the rotating merchandise displays ...even though we made a purchase, a very small purchase I would have made a much larger purchase because I loved the selection of the wine glasses by Lolita and the Alex & Ani braclets. which I collect. As I am sure me not spending my projected $200 is not going to make or break Greetings & Readings the entire situation made me feel very uncomfortable, unwanted and stereotyped. I felt the need to share with the customers reviewing this and potentially going to spend their hard earned dollars at this location what I experienced. Joyce A.
