Established in 1926, St. Joseph School serves more than 400 students in two through grade eight. It offers academic courses in religion, language arts, mathematics, social studies, science, computer education, Spanish and physical education. The school operates a students council that provides a variety of community services. In addition, St. Joseph School has drama, choir and dance clubs. It promotes students participation in several extracurricular activities, such as debate, chess, and environmental and cultural programs. The school is accredited by the Maryland State Department of Education. Located in Cockeysville, Md., St. Joseph School is a part of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Congregation, which operates several ministries.
