We brouht our dog here for entropion surgery. They failed to perform a thorough follow up inspection of our dog. The inspection was done from across the waiting room & in about 3 minutes. Upon getting home her eyes became terribly infected. The odor from her eyes smelled of death. There was excessive discharge. She struggled to even keep her eyes open. We brought her in for a second opinion & she was prescribed medication for pain & infection. The other Dr described her post entropion surgery as one of the worst looking conditons he's encountered. We Care was sorry that we felt sorry. I like to think this is an isolated incident but it still doesn't change our situation. What if we never got that second opinion? I hope no other pet owners have to go through what Penny went through. Seems to me We Care is all about pushing as many pets though the door & collecting that paycheck instead of really caring. I hope We Care seriously reconsiders the way they operate based on our experience.
They are so caring and gentle with all of our pets. We have a rot, pomeranian and long hair cat who thinks he's a dog. All of them go there for everything they need and are treated so good. Their prices are very reasonable and well worth a healthy pet. I've called after hours when my pom broke his leg and they met me at the clinic right away, also when my rot developed an infection in her one paw we were able to get her in without a previous appointment. They're always willing to squeeze in an emergency. The Dr's and staff are the best!

We are from the Milwaukee area but my daughter and family live in Clintonville. After getting an insane estimate at our local vet of $450-$550 to have Luke's 2 dewclaws removed,my daughter recommended We Care. Everything went fine and Luke is in his 2 week recovery before we come back to have his sutures removed. The cost? $85!! So we killed 2 birds with one stone. Visited my daughter and her family and saved hundreds of dollars in the process of bringing Luke to We Care. :) We're thinking of making We Care Luke's vet since we come to the area anyway several times a year. Of course we're at the mercy of the local highway robbers if anything serious happens to Luke that needs immediate attention but for checkups and surgeries and such, sure can't beat We Care.
