At Motor City Co-op Credit Union, we are committed to being your one-stop financial center. Our goal is to provide all the products and services you need to make managing your money easy and convenient. Call us to make MCCCU your one and only financial institution! Contact your nearest branch today to gain maximum benefits by using more of our services. To open an account you can visit any of our offices. Our Clinton Township, Roseville and Warren branch hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Thursday and 9:00 am to 6:00 pm on Friday. Our Detroit lobby hours are Monday through Thursday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm and Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Clinton Township is open Saturday 9:00 am to 1 :00 pm. Please bring your State of Michigan Driver's License or State Identification Card and $13 cash. If you have any questions, please call Member Solutions at 800-328-8051, option 5.

Business History

Motor City Co-op Credit Union, a full service financial institution, has served residents of Michigan since 1948. history The Credit Union was founded in 1948 by Ralph Bathanti in the living room of his home on Parker Street in Detroit. The first year financials showed assets of $7,100 and 175 members. In 1955, the Credit Union's first official office was established on Van Dyke in Detroit. Mr. Bathanti managed the office and two employees. In 1961, times were good for Motor City. Assets had reached $1.5 million and membership was 3,900. The new corporate offices moved to a larger facility on the corner of Nevada & Van Dyke. In April 1991, construction began on the new corporate office in Clinton Township, our current location. Now in 2016, with assets of $141 million and 16,550 members, we are proud that our members trust us as their primary financial institution. We have offices in Clinton Township, Roseville, Detroit and Warren.
