If I could give zero stars I would....lrts start from the beginning I called at 510 PM for a furnace issue was explained by dispatch Kristen ( very rude) that the cost of a service call would be $134.95 ...I reluctantly agreed....my service tech arrives a d diagnosis my problem in 2 minutes says the switch was off...I also him for a discount because of what happened he calls dispatch Kristen and says your all set....I am thinking cool they waived all charges....I get $20 bill for a tip and he says no they only reduced it to $89.95. .. I say wait I need to talk to the manager ...I call and explain situation to Kristen ...she says too bad can't do anything .. i offer to pay $50 for a 2 minute diagnosis she again says nothing she can do....I say to speak to her boss and she says the owner is here Josh I'll let you talk to him... again I explain my situation .. I live 1/2 mile away your tech spent 2 minutes diagnosing the problem I offer to pay $50 he says you can't dictate my prices ... .very rude .....do not do business with these people they are not nice people and have a very bad attitude......I paid $89.95 for a switch that was in the off position ....I will never call them again for anything Josh Bigelow thanks for listening you taught your entire crew a great lesson tonite ! repeat business is the best business and customer happiness is always the number one!
Had an issue with our AC unit. Upon doing some searches and inquiries from friends/family and on-line reviews, we decided to give Great Dane a try. (We had used them for service on our furnace 13 years prior, as well and were extremely happy then too...and, that repair is still holding strong) Called this morning and was immediately helped by Jeff and made a same day apt. The time frame given was met and I cannot give enough praise to the service guy, Qamrul (Qam)! As a homeowner for many years, Qam was one of the most helpful, informative, polite, pleasant individuals I've met when dealing with many from our past home improvement or maintenance projects and issues. He offered tips, advice, and viewpoints while explaining everything up front in as general terms as possible. Just solid knowledge and very thorough without any pressure what-so-ever! Very happy we went with them for this issue and look forward to the future for our next new/replacement furnace and AC needs.
They only want your business one time apparently!! With complete understanding on how the sales and service system works I acknowledge the fact that this is not a non-profit business. However I did not realize it gave you a license to steal..I called this company because they wrote in large black marker print on my existing furnace their number. Accepting the fact that I would pay the $90 service fee to have them come out and fix the $25 capacitor that i knew was bad i didn't realize they would charge $290 total WOW! you got me!, and you did not leave the part you replaced which i thought was mandatory. Please note, every opportunity I get to NOT! refer someone to do business with your company I will go out of my way to do so and considering I live in a large subdivision I'm sure I will have plenty of opportunities to do so. Pigs get fat hogs get slaughtered.
We had Great Dane install a new furnace and air conditioning unit in our home on December 11th, and we wanted to express our appreciation and satisfaction in the professional way everything has been handled. From our initial contact with Steve Ford with a quote through installation of the new furnace, everything was handled in a professional manner. The technicians, Brad and Brandon, did a beautiful job on a very cold day and we couldn't be happier with the results. I have used Great Dane several times now and have been pleased with the work every time. I have minor repairs at a rental property to a new installation at my home. They have great service staff from the office to the field. Each time I have used them they responded quickly and provided great service.
The City Inspector in Warren even told me that I had nothing to worry about when I called for the inspection because Great Dane does good work.

I recently had the Great Dane professionals out to my house after a couple very unpleasent experience with a different hvac contrator. Everyone from the office to the sales staff and especially my installation team (Nick and Dave). The installers where the ones I was most impressed with. From the moment they walked in and introduced themselves with a handshake and the famous red carpet treatment Great Dane provides. They made sure I understood the maintenance and how to operate my new equipment. I am thoroughly satisfied with the quality work and will recommend them to all my friends and family!
