I had this Walgreens as my preferred place but after countless mistakes such as getting a text and call that script is ready and driving there and being told they don't know what I'm talking about to not having my ins on file to not being able to fill pain meds bc of "there" policy to Just plain stupidness. I will not ever go here again! I sent my bf to pick up antibiotics for me when I was sick and the young blonde girl wouldn't let him get them. This place needs some experience and quit hiring teenagers that get a script that tells them what to tell people. I know times have changed bc now the drug addicts get to write the rules but goodness sakes what about us common folk. Totally over it. Fire the young blonde that doesn't know anything ( my 3rd issue with her) and hire experienced people. To be sure i will spread this word as I sit in pain not bc of my dr but bc of the pharmacy I chose. I had surgery and am in extreme pain but they treated me like a drug addict. Which I've not gotten pain meds very much in my life at 37 so now I need them and somehow this pharmacy over ride my dr.
The customer service at this pharmacy is very hit or miss. They have called or emailed me that prescriptions are ready for pick up when they are not. I was once accused of fraud for asking questions that my doctor sent me to ask re plan coverage. I have had charges to my insurance for auto refills that did not pick up. Just now they said my prescription was transferred to another store - would not have done that because this store is close to my house and the other is out of my way.
When you call the pharmacy, it rings and rings. Five people will be standing there doing absolutely nothing and no one will answer the phone. Finally when they do answer, the put you straight on hold. By the time they decide to wait on you, it's "I can't, I can't." I am almost 50 years old and the nicest person you will ever meet but this is the worst pharmacy I have ever seen. They should just shut it down, close!
