Overall
WILL NOT BE BACK!

Went there and asked if they could check out 2 problems that was going on with my car. They said ok and it would cost me $34, which was fine with me. A couple hours later they came back and said I needed $1100 worth of work. Only one of their suggested repairs had to do with 1 out of the 2 issues I came in for. I let them do the work because some things were leaking. Got my car back when they finished 2 days later. My car still had the same 2 problems I had come in for and they said they had fixed. I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK HERE EVER!!!!!

Overall
Save Yourself Time, Money, and Headache By Going Elsewhere

At first, I trusted Mr. Tire to take care of a few of my automobile needs, such as tires and brakes. However, my past experience is sure to be my last.

I dropped my car off on a Sunday via tow because it wouldn't start. Mr. Tire had my car for 2 FULL days before even bothering to contact me. I called the office every day to check the status of a diagnostic. On the 3rd day, someone from their office contacted me stating that they still could not find the problem with my vehicle. Another day passes and I still hear nothing about the progress of my vehicle. This goes on for 6 days before someone calls me on Saturday to tell me my ignition cylinder is broken.

Now, when I took my car into the shop, I was able to turn my keys in the ignition just fine. However, when I popped up to see how everything was going on DAY 9, the mechanic tells me that he still couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. DAY 9!!!! At the end of day 9, Mr. Tire contacted me to let me know they were going to tow my car to the dealership.

Day 10, no phone call.

Day 11. My car is not at the dealership. It’s at another Mr. Tire. -_- No one even told me.

Day 12. The mechanic made up some excuse as to why they towed it there instead of another dealership…blah, blah, blah. At this time, I’m LIVID because they didn’t do what they said they would. Then the manager tells me, I have to pay my balance before they tow it to the dealership.

Day 13. My car is STILL not starting, but I had to sit at the dealership until my car was fixed. The dealer tells me my key won’t even turn in the ignition.

I had to pay almost $1,200 ON TOP of what I paid Mr. Tire (around $575) just to get my car out of the dealership shop.

It gets better…

The tow truck driver contracted by Mr. Tire ruined my front splash guard… had to go BACK to the dealer. (2nd visit)

Mr. Tire didn’t connect my battery cables properly, so my car intermittently didn’t start…back to the dealer. (3rd visit)

Let’s just say, if you want to have your car within 1-2 days, DON’T GO TO MR. TIRE IN CLINTON. I had to submit a claim to their corporate office for breaking parts, and THANK GOD they are paying me back for the dealer charges...
