Was excited to eat dinner here tonight.....Until, the cook walked in after us from being in his truck smoking a cigarette and telling the girl taking our order...."we are out of rice". Husband got a bad feeling about cleanliness of the cook. So we cancelled and left.
LOVE IT love it love it! nice bar, great staff, super food. I am from LA and when I get homesick... I stop in for a bowl of gumbo, oysters, and a hurricane! The portions are huge and the pices reasonable.
After hurricane Harvey, the restaurant is now located on Fulton Street in North Houston, not on Richmond. The food here is delicious! The best fried chicken I ever had. The whole team was friendly. Two of the cast of the show was there Charles and Bruce they were kind enough to stop and take pic…
Service was good, but the food was terrible. I ordered the daily special, grilled snapper with crawfish etouffee . The etoufee was lackluster and the grilled snapper was rubbery. It was bad enough that I only ate a couple of bites and left the rest. I won't be returning.
I have never been there before the other night. I got the club sandwich and my husband and children got the buffet, the food was good. Served hot, and the waitstaff was pleasant. I would go back. The price was reasonable as well.
This is a small town family friendly restaurant. We dine here at least once a week for breakfast. They know how to cook an egg, and have the 1 egg, 2 egg, 3 egg breakfast menu with ham steak, chicken fried steak, pancakes, and biscuits with a side of gravy available. I like the Ruben, and the Fi…

If you want great southern hospitality and super customer service Triggs is your place. Sheenan, Sharon and Terrie adds more to your eating experience with their down to earth personality. Their prices are great. I would recommend this eating establishment to all of my friends.
Love this place, very good, but a little pricey. Though not as exspensive as most sea food places. The staff is super nice and always give my kids cookies, which is sweet.
Has not been open in over two years. Update your stuff up. There isn't even a building there anymore. Its a parking lot for Ros
Overpriced. Ordered a shrimp platter and they were on the small side. Fries were soggy. Claim catfish was part of the seafood trio but tasted nothing like catfish. Definitely not fresh seafood. Seafood trio we ordered also was short on whatever fish it was, two pieces instead of three. Hush puppies were gross. Cost over twenty five dollars for two meals that tasted like they were pulled straight from walmarts freezer.
