I love love love the Cleveland CVS Minute Clinic! 18 months and older can be seen! You can be seen for illness, vaccinations, or wellness screenings!
I have been going there for over a year. Love the staff but would like to see a doctor there more often instead of NP's.
I love having Dr. Chin as my daughters PCP. He is a wonderful doctor however, getting in to see him is a different story. I have been waiting for months to get my daughters wellness check up and on at least 4 occasions she has been sick and I have had to take her to another doctor because no one at Southern Medical would answer the phone and if I got the answering service, no one would ever return my call. I have called at least 20 times in the last several months and NEVER got a call back. Dr. Chin came in to my place of employment and I told him what was going on so he called the number for me, he listened to the voice mail that played and told me to leave a message and assured me that they would call me back. I'm still waiting.
Just wondering, Brian - was this based on a one-time visit or have you been a long-term patient? You'll be hard pressed to find a more personal and caring Professional than Dr. Chin in the surrounding area. He is a "whole person" care-giver. I've found him to be as concerned about the "whys" of an issue as he is about the issue its' self. As for the receptionist, I can't comment. Hopefully this was an isolated occurrence and will be addressed. Merry Christmas to you and yours!
I went there the other night straight from work. I went with to address a health issue that has been going on for over 2 months now. The wait wasn't that bad but my issue was when I was with the prácticioner. Firstly she practical runs into my room does not introduce herself doesn't have any of my paperwork in front of her or anything to take notes with. The first thing to come out of her mouth is "Im a practioner, oK what's going on" I try to be postive and overlook her rude entrance and start telling her what's going on and right away she starts cutting me off and starts assuming and trying to diagnose me without letting me finish, she was very unprofessional showed no concern as to what was going on with me and really didn't seem to listen to I was trying to tell her, she ended up giving me a prescription for something I told her I had already tried and didnt work on me and told me to try it again, they then give me the notes from my visit which were a joke since she didn't ever take any. It was info you can tell she just pulled out from her hat cause half the info was not relevant , at the end of the papers it said when asked patient the severity of her ailment it showed only a 3 out of 10, if she would have really asked me that question I would have said a 7 out of 10. So yeah it was some very very awful service that I had to pay out of pocket to begin with. A total waste of my money. Suprise she doesn't have a lawsuit on her hands.
I came in for a spider bite on my arm. When I came in and got sent back to my room there was only me and one other person here. I have waited an hour and a half and still haven't seen a doctor. I've came here several times and I'm always waiting at the least two hours no matter how busy they are. This is just rediculous!!
Lack of trained receptionist, doesn't return phone calls, takes their time when letting you know about prescriptions.
Horrible. Extremely RUDE uncaring Dr. My husband was in extreme pain and was spoken to like he was an idiot and they did nothing to help. Don't go here if you actually want care.
Daughter went in with a cold. Wanted to make sure it wasn't more serious. Waited over an hour, after being told they weren't busy, and then had a 5 min consult. Np did not listen to lungs, look at throat or ears. Gave her rx for antihistamines, cough syrup and nasal spray. No medical history, or he would have known she doesn't have allergies. 6 month refills on Zyrtec. Huh?
