Summary: The worst warranty department I've ever delt with. Lies, excuses, zero communication, sub standard quality furniture. Take your money elsewhere. I don't usually give negative reviews, but our recent experience warrants a warning to others thinking of purchasing from this store. We purchased a Washington couch and loveseat set in 2016, within several months the cardboard in both curved arms of the loveseat had broken & the SPRINGS of the left seat of the couch were sagging horribly, making it uncomfortable (we aren't hard on furniture, this is all from gentle, normal use). I called in Feb. to claim our 1 year warranty. I was told at that point that they would fix them, but didn't know when they would have a truck up our way (Sweetwater area). We waited over a month with 0 contact, had to fight them & finally they came and picked up the love seat promising that they'd have it back the following week. THREE weeks, several phone calls, and a whole lot of excuses later we FINALLY got our loveseat back, but instead of bringing the springs to fix the couch, they sent a CUSHION. After months of explaining that I rotate and flip my cushions regularly, they sent a cushion. At that point I asked the delivery drivers (who both told me it was DEFINITELY a spring issue) to call and see if they could take the couch w/ them to fix it. They were told to take pictures & go on their way. Toady we had to call & ask for an update AGAIN and were told that they wouldn't fix anything else because it was past the 1 yr mark, even though the process was started far before our 1 yr mark. So now we're suck with a broken sofa & a terrible experience. Do not buy here, find somewhere that sells quality furniture and actually wants to have happy customers. If Mike in the warranty department spent as much time actually trying to fix problems as he does lying and making up stupid excuses, I might actually be a happy customer leaving a positive review.
Tried to call to see if a part for one of their chairs was available. Every option 1,,3,0 sends you to the same recording......"email us with your problem". Option # 2 gets you an un-cooperative woman at accounts payable who directs you to press 0.......which directs you back to the email recording. When asked to speak to the company President, she hung up.Bottom line is these people don't care about you, so I highly recommend you avoid ANY Catnapper or Cleveland Chair Co. product.
I wanted to buy this couch but hated the pillows that came on it. They would not change the pillows I wanted. They wouldn't come off the price by of the pillows and I spoke with the manager Jeff and he wouldn't help me either. They wouldn't make a deal with me bc I didn't like these pillows that came on it. They do not have very good service at all. I wouldn't purchase anything from this store!!! You'll have better luck at Ashley Furniture or online at any other store. I would not shop here!!! It's sad they blew a sale bc they wouldn't change pillows. So if that tells u anything people.
I ordered a couch and was told originally that it would take one week to come in, It has now been three and I was offered to come look at another couch that was similar. I take off of work today to come look at it and it was the couch I had ordered. They did not notice it was my order and put it on the sales floor, and before inviting me to come look at it did not check it. Also I was told that I would be getting two years interest free on the financing that I did. The two years interest free was on the sign out in front of the store, the sales person told me it would be two years interest free, and the woman that helped me sign the paper work said that it was two years interest free. When the bank lady called she advised me that they put on the paper work one year interest free. avoid this place!-- update a man named Scott called me and resolved my issues.
I would not buy from Scott's again. Scott’s sold our furniture to us and told out that it could be 2 to 3 weeks before you to get your furniture now every week we call and get told it will be 1 more week. It has now my 6 weeks. I had a coworker buy from them and it took 6 or 7 weeks to get his furniture as well. I should have listened to my coworker and bought somewhere else. Scott Furniture doesn’t care how long it takes to get your furniture. I would pay more and go someone where else. Update. My wife called and was told it is on the truck it would be 1 more week. I called ask to talk with the manager and she told me she would get down to it. She call me back told me the manufacturer was out of the fabric they are due to have it next week and it will take 1 week to get it here. so now we are up to 8 weeks still no furniture. They would not work with us at all. They said we give you free sales tax. That is all we will do for you. I can tell you i will never buy from there again!
Had an issue with Scotts and they have agreed to offer their assistance in the issue resolution.
