Transmission Engine Pros are the BEST! They’re friendly, courteous, honest and, most of all, the BEST darn transmission repair shop in NE Ohio. They have done 2 transmission repairs for me over the years and I couldn’t be happier. Everything is running PERFECTLY!

My son and a friend were traveling to Michigan and his automatic transmission stopped shifting above 3rd gear when he was near Cleveland, Ohio. After going to the Firestone auto center at North Olmstead, they told him it would need a transmission specialist to repair the transmission. This occurred on a Saturday afternoon. He had to check into a local hotel, then called me and we went into research mode on the internet. All the transmission repair facilities were closed for the weekend but we found 2 highly rated shops on Angie's List. He called both on Monday morning and since Transmission Engine Pros was closer and accessible using back roads, he drove the car over to the shop. After diagnosing the problem, it turned out the work would take till Thursday to repair. The shop arranged for a rental car and my son was able to continue his trip to Michigan.

He returned on Thursday, the car was ready as promised and the price was the same as the estimate (a little over $2,000). The people at the repair shop that he dealt with were very polite and helpful. I had to give them my credit card to pay for the transaction, and my experience with their customer service is that it is a first class operation.

If you are in the area, or passing through the area and having transmission issues, then I would highly recommend their services. The car ran well all the way back to New Jersey and there haven't been any problems since.

Recently had the front brakes replaced on my 2001 Highlander. As usual, the service was done on time, professionally, and at a competitive price. excellent mechanics 2010 Mercury Milan transmission line rusted through causing auto trans to burn up, they replaced trans with rebuilt and runs excellent plus they have you come back in 2 weeks to make sure nothing is leaking or not working properly never heard of a shop that offers this type of service Greatly recommend for tranny work

I called Todd because his company came up when I searched for car key replacement. I've never been a customer and Todd received nothing from my issue but worked with me over several phone calls to make sure I found the right locksmith and the most cost effective solution to my problem. He saved me quite a bit of money as my initial plan was to tow my car to the dealership. Next time I need any car repairs, I will be using this company!

I had my car in several times over the years for different maintenance services. Each time I was impressed with the fast and professional work that was done.
