Reconstructive Surgery
Using fat grafts to enlarge breasts has actually been around since 1985, but with less than permanent results. Over time, though, the procedure has been fine-tuned and many women are pleased with their results years later. In fact, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the official journal of the American Society for Plastic Surgeons, published a six year study showing that the procedure “led to significantly larger breast augmentations, with more fat graft placement, higher graft survival rates and minimal graft necrosis or complications.”

Lax and saggy skin tissue is most often found in the lower half of the face and without surgery, nothing can be done to shrink it significantly. The skin must be repositioned, removed and repaired. A facelift and other procedures can help patients who have deep under-eye creases, deep forehead creases, drooping eyebrows, lowered cheek pads, saggy skin along the jaw line, double chins and flabby or drooping jowls. Injectables cannot achieve the degree of improvement or the lasting results that surgery can.
