Some of the details about our trip aboard the Nautica Queen were well attended to & others, well, not so much. It was our Anniversary & a particularly special one (my wife and I are expecting a baby in a month). The woman taking my reservation suggested a request for a table for 2, though she could offer no promises. Other staff said to mention early that we'd like a table for 2. When we did, the maitre-de told us they 'didn't have tables for two on the cruise'. Really? Interesting. Then why does your staff say the contrary? If we can't have it, just say so.
When we got to our table, there were BIG spiders on the windows (inside and out) & hanging from the lights, dropping to within inches of the patrons heads. The whole bow looked on, screaming with every pesky plunge. Why didn't we say something to the staff? Well, we did...FOUR TIMES before anything was done about it. Seriously! Our individual server twice & even the maitre-de who literally turned & walked away without saying anything. Guess he doesn't like spiders, either. Finally, a server from another section took notice of some of the passengers jumping from their seats & came over & took care of the one nose-diving our dinner table. She got a standing ovation, unlike ANYONE who had ANYTHING to do with seating in our section. Spiders happen, I'm sure...but guys, one look at your windows up front & you'll see what I'm talking about. Got a broom? Pretty gross for a lot of people trying to enjoy their meals at $50 per plate. Oh yeah, your speakers up there don't work, either.
The staff at the buffet were very friendly & took pride in their spread, which was nicely presented. The food was fair: think run-of-the-mill catered food & you'll have a good idea of what's going on there. Nothing ground-breaking.
The gem of the trip was topside at sunset.
Would I go back? Possibly, but for the price, I expected a little more. Only go while warm enough to go topside and onsider seeking discount tickets.

The four of us were seated at our own part of a long table/bench arrahngement. The staff was congenial and helpful. The buffet offered variety; the food was very tasty!
We got a running commentary of Cleveland information by the dee jay. He played a variety of music and took requests.
After dinner on one of the enclosed decks we went up to the open top deck to enjoy the great breeze, the sights and the music.
Coffee, hot tea or iced tea (and dessert) were included in the price. There was a cash bar, but we don't drink. Others on board were drinking, but no one got sloppy drunk or rowdy.
Our server came up to the top deck to bring us beverages.
If there's a downside it is only that the bathroom stalls are narrow and that there are stairs to climb. Two of us have disabilities but can walk. It took us a while to negotiate the stairs but everyone was patient. Being forewarned about the steps helps, and that was mentioned when I made reservations. I don't think wheelchairs can be accommodated, but if you can walk you'll do okay.
I know that there was a negative review written, and all I can say is that if you look for something bad you'll find it. Don't let that discourage you. The only way to be sure is to take the cruise, and I don't think you'll be sorry you did.
All in all it was a very nice experience. In fact, my spouse and I plan to take our sons with us the next time. Thanks, Nautica Queen for giving us such a pleasant evening!!! :)

My girlfriend entered the boat expecting a dinner for 2, but it turned out to be a dinner for 4. A 2 person table was not available, which forced us to eat dinner with another couple we didn't even know. The food was not bad though. All in all, I paid around $80 for the two of us which did not include the the pop or alcohol. The entertainment was horable. This guy with shaggy hair was the main attraction who starts off giving you a sight seeing tour and you can barely hear him over the speakers. He was a one man band with fake hair and thought he was Wayne Newton from Vegas. I would have to say he was a true white guy with no rythm...and I'm white! Him singing ""The Electric Slide"" was truly the nail in the coffin! An unforgetable experience to say the least.
