Middlefield Windows & Doors

Don't waste your time and hard earned money with this company!

I cannot recommend this company to anyone.
Here's why :
Delivery date was two weeks after the promise date. They installed a door that was too large (they measured it incorrectly) causing the trim to be too small. The purchase order stated that Middlefield will reuse the existing trim. They refused to correct their error. After much complaining they replace the top piece with a non matching piece. They damaged the door on installation leaving a large hole for air, rain and insects to enter. So we needed to use a towel block the hole. Middlefield blamed the manufacturer. One month later the part came in. Installer came out a week later and refused to install part because he didn't want to take the door apart (part of locking/seal mechanism). More calls and run-around from Middlefield. Manufacturer came out after owner of Middlefield said that they needed to replace the part. The manufacturer came out and installed the part. Actual repair time was ten minutes. After the repair the manufacturer informed me that the installer or the trim did it so that the staples were protruding though the door frame. 5 out of 7 times! More calls to the owner but never response back. Later that winter we had snow blowing in from under the door. The entire thing had to be recaulked.
They have very poor communication skills and they play the blame game!

Would never recommend this company~ever.
Customer service was horrible. No communication while waiting 3 months for replacement parts. If I didn't call to get an update, there would not be any updates.

I had both entry doors, a sliding glass patio door and 3 screen doors replaced. Let me tell you how great they are!!!! My house not only is sealed from the weather it also looks wonderful!!!! I have received many compliments. Their workers are the best. No sub-contractors and no sub par work. They were on time, cleaned up and did an outstanding job!!

This is a company a highly recommend!!!!!
