I have been a loyal customer of Kurak Tire Center for many years. I have experienced nothing but FIRST CLASS customer service and auto repair workmanship at very reasonable prices. Kurak Tire's high integrity allows you to make the best repair / service decision as they provide a detailed analysis with cost options. Kurak Tire equals QUALITY service from QUALITY people.
I would not trust my vehicles with any other shop. Dave has always been extremely honest and fair. The mechanics do a great job and have always solved any car issues. We have been using Kurak tire for our maintance for over 10 years and wouldn't go anywhere else.
I've been going to this shop for years. I've purchased several tires from them, had a few repaired, and had unexpected work done on a bearing while my car was in the shop for a repair on a tire. Even after all of this work and loyalty from the past couple years they charged me $50 just to diagnose an engine problem.
Ron, the very rude owner of the shop I talked to on the phone about the charges immediately got defensive and irate when I questioned the charge. He even tried to threaten me with a $100 bill instead of the $50.
The $50 bill was for plugging a diagnostic machine into my car and getting a reading. This procedure takes less than 5 minutes and is very easy to preform. The charge was never mentioned when I first brought my car to them.
This shop overcharges for labor and parts. They are also very rude to customers and do not appreciate loyalty. I will never bring any of my vehicles there again and encourage others to do the same.
After making this post the business called me and refused to release my car until I took down this review. I removed it until my car was safely away from these criminals.
Please do not do business with these people. They are very unprofessional and will resort to illegally holding your property and extorting you to do their bidding.
If I could give this shop no stars at all I would. I took my car here and asked if they could check my tires because a sensor was on. I received a call the next morning telling me it was repaired, without my permission. When I went to pick it up I asked why I wasn't called and asked first before the repair was made and given information on what would be done, how much it would cost, etc. I was then told, by the owner, to pay my fu**ing bill and don't come back. He refused to answer why I wasn't called and even came around the counter and got in my face to continue screaming at me to pay the bill and get out. He also was so kind to inform me that he was passing the facility down to his son, Dave, and didn't care about what happened because if I came back in 5 years he probably wouldn't even be there. I will never return to this shop and I encourage anyone reading this to find somewhere else to get their vehicle fixed.

Last winter, I was pricing a pair of tires for my wife's car. Out of the countless websites I consulted and 6 shops I called, Kurak's not only had the lowest price by about $35 per tire, but I called at 2:30 on a snowy saturday when they were planning to close at 3:00 - They told me to come in anyway and mounted and balanced both my tires while I waited; staying past ""closing"" to get the job done.
Not once did they act like it was an inconvenience to them, and in fact, one of the mechanics actually carried the one tire I was keeping to my truck for me, and put it into the bed. He didn't want me to get dirty handling the tire.
I found these reviews in the process of looking up their info so I can replace all 4 tires on another vehicle. They absolutely earned my business with that first experience last winter.
