State Alarm has been in business since 1951. The original owner of the Company George Maczko was with the Company many years after the present owner bought it from George. The present owner, Donald Shury, has owned State Alarm since 1973. At the time when Mr. Shury purchased State Alarm, it was not yet a UL Certified Central Station. Mr. Shury obtained this goal in 1974. What does a UL listing mean? It means annually reviews of the Company by Underwriters Laboratories. It means maintaining security standards. State Alarm strives to give all of our customers the best possible monitoring, installation and service available in the industry. Sometimes we fall short. And at these times, we want to know about it. We want our customers to let us know about it. Customer service is our business, our only business.

Our Central Station is located in Youngstown, Ohio. We monitor customers as far north as New York,as far south as Florida and as far west as California. We can monitor where you are! We have sales and installation/service offices in Cleveland, Dayton and Youngstown Ohio. We have offices in Tampa Florida with sales, installation and service in Ft Lauderdale and Orlando areas. We monitor, install and monitor in most of Florida.
