Rachelle was referred to me by my Physical Therapist. I had only lived here a few days after moving from Chicago. I had a 3-level cervical fusion in March 2017 and sadly am not pain-free. Rachelle completed a very thorough evaluation before her customized massage. I felt great afterwards :) Definitely will be a repeat patient at Back in Motion Massage Therapy.

Rachelle was thoughtful and thorough in her approach to treating pain caused by scoliosis. Her Swedish massage was just the right amount of pressure. Through reflexology, I felt great relief along my spine. Through reiki, I felt the pain shift from one shoulder to the other and then it was virtually gone. That evening, I slept very well. Highly recommended!
I recently enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing massage and reflexology treatment, which released tension I didn't even know I was carrying throughout my body. The therapeutic, aromatic oils and lotions enhanced the experience and contributed to a sense of calm and peaceful serenity that stayed with me all day after my morning appointment! This was my first massage, and Rachelle put me at ease and explained all of her movements and their significance. I highly recommend Back in Motion, even for people who are not experiencing chronic pain or other symptoms.
I came in with back and leg pain that I had for years. Rachelle listens and puts her focus where you tell her. She uses Yong Living oils and has strong hands. That day I left feeling great, pain down and more agile then before. I recommend Rachelle for deep tissue massage.
Rachelle's multi-disciplinary approach to healing is a must try. Her touch is great, but she does so much more. She has taught me some invaluable relaxation skills through breathing techniques and mental coaching - her therapy is really holistic, not just based on the muscle manipulation aspect of massage (her massage work is top notch). For anyone who wants someone who actually knows what they are doing with reflexology, I highly recommend Rachelle on this basis alone. As someone who is generally very sensitive about how my feet are handled, I felt completely comfortable with her manipulations, which were all deliberate and intentional.I certainly feel some improvement as a result of her therapy and highly recommend anyone consider her who is in search of treatment for maladies in a much more substantial way than a barebones massage.
Rachelle is amazing! In my session she used reflexology, acupressure, essential oils and traditional massage techniques to help release the tension I carry in my neck and shoulders as a result of days spent working on the computer. She was also able to save me from dizzy spells I'd been having related to neck tension. She is a very skilled healer - I'd highly recommend her to anyone with chronic problems or simply looking for a lovely way to relax and unwind! I'll certainly be back!
I have been diagnosed with osteoarthritis. Whenever the aches and pains get the better of me, Rachelle brings relief. Her hands and essential oils work magic and bring relief almost instantly! It is the best massage and foot reflexology ever!! I highly recommend you give her a try. You will be made welcome in a professional way and will relax as her skills and calming music bring not only relief, but a sense of calm and well-being! You will leave feeling like a new person!
4/9/15 My name is Tim and I have been diagnosed with arthritis, shoulder impingement, high blood pressure as well as many other physical problems. After seeing 5 doctors and 4 specialist, I realized that all of the money spent on trying to find relief from pain was a total waste. Once I started treatments with Rachelle (Back in Motion), my pain has dramatically subsided. My quality of life has improved to the point where I can now live with minimal pain and increased activity. If you suffer from any form of arthritic pain, please don’t waste your money on expensive doctors and unnecessary tests, go see Rachelle at Back in Motion for immediate relief from whatever ails you.
I am a string player studying in a music conservatory. I end up practicing the same repetitive movements every day. Seeing Rachelle is a very freeing experience physically. Although she employs nontraditional techniques like foot reflexology, I still always leave her home feeling like new.
Rachelle was a life saver. I came back from a business trip and my body was feeling all tied up in knots. I left messages with all of my usual massage therapists and they were not able to fit me in. I did an online search and found Rachelle who was very close to me - I left her a message as well. She called me back to say that she just had a cancellation and since she was so close, I was able to go in right away. It is a bonus that she has a medical degree. I am now going regularly and will be passing her name on to others.
