Not a honest company!!! Promised to stop my leak at my business.. the leak is still leaking and he has been paid in full. He keeps promising to return to finish the job he has come back out a few time to try and stop the leaks but to no avail the roof is still leaking. I paid him 2,800 in a check that he has cashed. He promised me that my leaking roof problem would be over once he accepted the job and that my previous roof that had promised me to fix the roof was a bad person/scam artist.... Anthony-Tony-Adam is not a man of his word or contracts. If you need a roofer you should call a professional roofing comapany it may cost more but in the long run you will sleep much better at night knowing that your home or business that you have invested your hard earned money in will not be destroyed by water-rain. I have learned the hard way!!!! This company earned a great big F-!!!!!! Don't say u were not warned... I wish I would have done more research before I intrusted my last 2,800 with Anthony:(......... I pray for better days ahead!!!!����
A few shingles on my roof flew off after a storm. We called Montenegro &they sent someone out, who gave us an estimate &told us they would replace the shingles temporarily for the winter, until March when they would replace the whole roof. We agreed &signed papers &cut them a check. They said they would be back sometime that week to replace the missing shingles. More than a week went by &we hadn't heard from them. My husband called, they sent someone a few days later. All was well until March when they came to do the roof. They were replacing the chimney cap too. The new roof looked great, except some shingles were raised. They said that they would lay flat after a few months when the warm temps heated them up. They said they were having a difficult time finding a cap because our chimney had "odd dimensions". We took their word for it. After a few days of not hearing from them again, my husband called about the chimney cap. Finally someone showed up with what looked like an animal cage. He said it was "custom made". After he installed it, there was a large gap under it where birds can get through. He said if that happens call him &he will see what else they can do. Wouldn't you know a few months later there was a nest in it. We called the guy and he would not return our calls. We called the main office and they said they would make sure that guy called us back. He eventually did &again promised within the week to come remove the nest &check it out. That was almost two years ago now &he hasn't shown up. He will not return our calls. We have called the main office thinking maybe he no longer works for them. He does, &they said he would call us back. He never has. We periodically call &leave voice mails but to no avail. The roof shingles that were raised that they promised would lay flat, are still raised! My husband called again a few weeks ago&we can't get in touch with anyone. Looks like we will be finding a new roofer this spring to fix Montenegro's mistakes.
Ripoff. Tried to charge more after the contract was signed. Never finished the work. Wish I could zero stars.
There are lots of things to say. The workers did a great job on the roof - as far as we can tell. It has not yet rained, so I guess we'll find out then, but it looks solid. However, after our experience, I would not deal with this company again. Was told the crew would show up 8 a.m. - no one showed up until noon, and 11 on the second day. No calls, no explanations. Was told cash only - which should have raised a red flag. Was told not to give the money to anyone except 1 certain person, and they'd take the balance when the job was done. Did that, but he apparently told his workers that WE were paying them when the job was finished. After we paid him, he took the cash, told them he was going to get them sodas, and took off, never to return. When they came to us an hour later, looking for payment, guess what? We didn't have it, and they said that he'd done this before. We were also told he would drop off insurance paperwork THIS morning that we need for reimbursement, but no show, no explanation, no return calls or texts. Also no warranty paperwork that we were promised. When I looked up the phone number after the fact, it takes me to a company of a different name, that is ALSO not a member of the Better Business Bureau, and gets an F rating. And the address listed is, according to Google maps, an abandoned lot with an old car repair shop on it. All around, while the workers were great, the integrity of the supposed owner (or whoever the heck he is) leaves much to be desired. He says one thing and does another, and apparently lies to both his workers and his clients. I will NOT ever recommend him!
