I have been a customer for more than 20 years. I am enrolled in their on-line bill paying. I requested a bill be paid by the 20th, due on the 28th. It was not, the creditcard charged me $25.00, late fee. (I have absolutely no history of missing a payment). The bank was negligent and would not provide me with ANY help. They said it was an online service. The credit card requested faxed info and the back refused, requesting a different proceedure. I stated I would be remove my money from this bank. The reply? Ansolutely NONE!
I'm closing my account.I had a terrible time trying to re-open my online banking account after reporting a lost card and check. It can't be done in one visit to the bank. It take two visits. The first one just handles the business of getting old accounts closed and transferred. The second is to establish your identity to re-open online banking. And then nothing happens immediately. The branch must send an email to another office and you have to wait for that email to be processed. I can't think of a good reason this can't be put in motion the first time you come in to the office. I'm glad I wasn't in another region trying to do real business online.
