Dr Jakubowski has been a lifesaver for me. I injured my neck over 35 years ago and most of the time it feels ok but whenever I do something that re-injures it, I go to see Dr J. He is accommodating & gets me in quickly plus he gets rid of the pain. He is also kind, gentle, professional yet has a great sense of humor. I highly recommend him !!!
I agree with Sculp33. I have never written a review, but I feel if I did not stand up and express my experience at whole essential 4 u massage studio, other customers might get hurt like I did when I was there. Elena Schwan did an O.K. job on massage. She did what she were supposed to do initially, until at the end of the session. When I was done dressed, I went out of the massage room, and stopped at the front desk to give her tips. She said, "Are you falling?" I was like what she was talking about? I was about 10 feet away from her with her desk in between us. She then stood up from the chair and yelled, "why don't you sit on the love seat! (there is a love seat in the 'lobby area')" I honestly told her, I was about getting ready to leave so I just wanted to give you the tips, and I am on my way out. She then went, "Why don't you leave, I don't want you to be here." She was extremely racist, she made comments about my nationality. I didn't want to stay in the studio any longer then I took off. I felt like I was in danger, so I left. It was extremely unprofessional, and unpleasant experience.I read about some reviews prior to going to the studio, of course none of them were positive, but I thought they were just from some bad mouth people who like to complain to good business no matter what. However, after going there personally, Seriously, you might put yourself in a dangerous position for being there. No wonder she asked me to redeem my coupon at first, but I didn't because the procedure wasn't right- aren't coupons redeem at the end of each service? I was able to get a refund of the coupon from where I purchased it. It was my first time there, but I DO NOT think that I will EVER go back there!
I couldn't be more impressed with this massage studio. The owner, Elena, actually gave me a 70-minute massage when I only paid for 60 minutes. Also, she didn't dock my massage for undressing/prep time like most therapists do. Her style of massage was different than any I had experienced in the past. She incorporated some gentle yoga stretches into the massage (very neat, I thought!) and also gave me a great facial, head and foot massage as part of my full-body package. A lot of places I've been to use unscented lotion or oil, but she used an herbal lavender lotion that seeps down into the muscles and helps relax and sooth them. That made the massage even more relaxing. She also included a free lavender eye mask during the session, which was awesome. One thing that did seem odd to me is that when I asked her to massage my lower back a second time, she did so but then moved on stating we should move slowly since I hadn't had a massage in quite a while. At first I thought, "Well, shouldn't I be the one to decide that?" However, I'm so glad she made that judgment call, as the amount of lower back massage she gave me was perfect and any more probably would have left a lot of bruising since I was so tense. At the end of the session, she provides free coffee, tea and Dasani water (my favorite!) and gives you ample time to get dressed and out of the office before the next client comes in. I really enjoyed my experience here and can't wait to go back, and she is making that possible by putting on some very affordable sales. (Her latest, buy a 90-minute hot stone massage for 50 percent off, which equates to $55, and get a free 60-minute massage!) She does her appointment scheduling on Full Slate, so I haven't had any issues with that. Just email to confirm if you don't get a confirmation email, because I didn't get one at first and she had to manually confirm.I would agree that her English skills are limited somewhat since English is her second language, but that in no way interfered with her ability to provide me with great service. When I was done she shook hands with me and gave me a coupon for a future visit. She was very polite and asked me if I was OK throughout the massage to make sure that she wasn't putting too much or too little pressure. I'm not sure what the other reviews are about, but my experience was certainly all good.
You couldn't ask for a better hospital staff than the ones at Lutheran Hospital Cleveland Clinic. The nurses, aides, & everyone associated with my stay before & after surgery are THE VERY BEST & THE MOST CARING & COMPASSIONATE GROUP THAT I HAVE EVER HAD IN A HOSPITAL!!! When you push the call button, they don't wait for 5 minutes or 5 hours to answer you; they are on the ball. And if you need something, they don't waste anytime in getting to you or getting it for you! And the surgical team I had, were the very best, to say the least!!!! I am so thankful to God for working everything out for me to be able to go!!!!! He was with me thru everything & everywhere!!! Thank You, Father, for what all you've done for me & for providing direction thru it all!!!!!!
I have never written a review, as I hate to complain or bad mouth people (especially working class people trying to make an honest living). But I feel like if I dont say something, other customers will be hurt like I was! This isn't about a massage that wasn't so good, this is about a massage therapist who was downright mean, unprofessional, and abusive! She is extremely racist, and makes it very clear that if you aren't "her kind", then she could care less about your business. Even before leaving, she snatches the tip out of your hands, throws it on her desk, and tells you to leave!! I tried to ask her why she was behaving that way, and if i did something wrong, and she said she didnt have to talk to someone "like me", and if i didnt leave immediately, she would call the police!! If you ask her questions, she actually gets upset and throws things! How is someone so unprofessional allowed to stay in business?! I actually did call the local police station myself to report her, but of course there's not much of an actual "case". It may not be criminal, but it is still unprofessional, and a horrible way to treat anyone, especially your paying customers! I know two other people who have gone to her for a massage, and their experiences were the same (snatching the tip, pushing you out the door, tossing things around, etc!!). Wow! How can this keep happening?! I have called the Ohio State Medical Board, as have the 2 other people who were treated abusively, so hopefully her license will be suspended and that awful (& dirty, like the other reviewer here talked about) "business" of hers will be shut down! Elena Schwan, aka Agatha, please check yourself, and stop harassing people!!
Do not step foot in this horrible place!! The space is filthy and the owner is abusive!
