The Taste Of The Coast

General Info
At our Cleveland, GA location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D's Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D's Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D's was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

We stopped here due to decent reviews.I got the Captain's Platter and my wife got the shrimp on rice. The Captain's Platter was fried to a crisp and tasteless. My wife's and rubberized shrimp were both terrible. There was no service at all.Everything I had heard about Captain D's restaurants being awful were correct. The reviews on Yelp gave me hope.If you're in Cleveland,Ga and hungry, please avoid this place and leave it to the locals

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE STATE. For the past two Sunday's in recent months when we walked into the restaurant we were shown the door I've worked in the restaurant business over thirty years and know how to treat people with respect and kindness. If we walk into a restaurant and all of the tables and booths are taken we understand no hurt feelings. But when your told to get up and let the people in line have it. THAT'S WRONG..... We have small children they don't understand we simply tell them that's an example of HOW NOT TO TREAT PEOPLE. SHARON MURPHY
