Tuffy Tire and Auto of Clermont

Took my car to Tuffy to get an oil change ,it cost me almost 100 dollars (synthitic oil ) 5,000 miles ago...i just took it to the dealership to get it done and the dealership told me that the oil hasn't ben changed for a wile like 10000 miles or more -they showed me the oil as it was coming out of the car oil pan and it was charcoal black ...i said how can that posible i just did it 5,000 miles a go ,,,come to a conclusion that TUFFY CHARGED ME FOR A SERVICE THEY NEVER DID....ALSO THE COVER THAT GO'S OVER THE OIL PAN CAME OF ON 175 BECAUSE THEY NEVER PUT IT BACK CORRECTLY...AS FOR GOING BACK THERE NEVER AND AS FOR YOU GOING THERE I WOULD KEEP MY EYES ON THE CAR AS THEY ARE DOING THE SERVICE

I would give 0 stars if possible....My experience at Tuffy on E. Hwy 50 in Clermont is a classic “let’s-pull-one-over-on-the ignorant-lady-who-knows-nothing-about-cars” that we’ve all heard about. I like to believe that people are generally honest, but after being told something was wrong with my ’08 Corolla every time I went in for an oil change, I started to become suspicious. I told them that my car was shaking between 60-70 mph, but not at lower or higher speeds, and that I needed an oil change and tire rotation and balance. I was told I needed a new front right bearing (to fix the shaking) and front end brake service. Also, a fuel injection cleaning, transmission flush (even though they did one at 45,000 miles and it was in their computer—shouldn’t need one for quite some time), brake fluid exchange, and brake adjustment, coming to a total of roughly $1,000. I laughed and said to just do the oil change, please. Another person came in and tried to get me to do the bearing and brakes, as it was a “safety issue” and needed immediate attention. After being asked numerous times if there was “anything we can do to help out with the price” so I could do the work today, they would work with me to make that happen. I repeated that I did not have the time to spare and would come back if needed. The next day I took my car to J & D Auto near the Lakeridge Winery for a second opinion. They did a complete inspection on my car and said nothing was wrong with it. Brakes were fine as was the bearing. All fluids looked good and nothing was needed at this time. As for the shaking, the tire rotation and balance took care of that. I will never use Tuffy again, and now J & D have a customer for life due to their honesty.

Went here for 2 tires, mine were SO bad, waited for 2 1/2 hours (was told 1 hr) and then they didn't even do my alignment b/c some other guys wheel fell off which to them was more important. I was told to come back & I needed another tire replaced. My hubby noticed instead of taking off the ripped one (where my 1 yr old sits) they just replaced the front 2, not moving good ones to the back. Ordered 2 more tires, left car there all day, went to pick it up and was told only 1 came in. By this time between tires & alignment I have been here 4 times now still with only 3 tires. My husband was told for our inconvenience the 4th tire would be free so we dropped it off this morning and we wet to pick it up we were told that he decided he could no longer just give us a tire. So after 5 trips to Tuffy I have have 4 tires. I will NEVER go here again. Customer Service is something I hold dear, I will pay 2x somewhere else next time to get the service I expect when spending this much $$.
