I’ve been going to Salon Gigi in Cleburne since it opened in October 2008, and there has never been a stylist there named Amy. The person who wrote the one star review must have gone to a different salon. Tina, the owner, is talented, professional, and treats everybody who comes into the salon like family.
excellent tax preparation and notary serviceknows how to make you feel welcome, always looking to serve you with a smile
I'm sad to give this salon such a low rating especially since most of the stylist here are actually pretty great, but based of my experience with one particular stylist named Amy I'm not so sure anymore. I came to get a balayge/ombré I did my research and knew what I wanted. Her first try she gave me a partial highlight and the ends were dark. She offered to correct it and I came back the second time. When she was done styling I looked through my hair and there was blotching of the coloring on some pieces I showed it to her and asked if she could fix it. She got furious, kicked me out of the salon said that I wanted my money back all along, and that she never wanted to see me again... This occurred in front many other costumers, employees, and her own daughter in the salon. I have never had costumer service like this before I felt bad and told her she could keep the money and she refused. Based off this I would advise to NEVER go to Amy as your stylist at this salon.
Wonderful place to be, everyone who works there is super friendly , Teresa Graff is the best she specializes in color and cutting!! I will never go to anyone else she's awesome!
Third time back! Have had great service everytime. Couldn't be happier with the foils and the time it took. Robert has done a great job getting my hair back healthy again. Best salon to go to for color!
Not to go there. The service is slow and they didnt do my hair right. Also my hair tuned pink and i wanted it to be a strawberry red. Also the lady cut my hair to my chin and i wanted it to be three inches below my shoulders./:
Recently moving to Cleburne, I had to find a new salon. I started calling around and was appalled by some of the prices I was finding. Even Smart Style in Walmart which I thought would be inexpensive was crazy, I was told it would cost $40-60 for a light trim and my hair styled in a french braid. At this point I half-figured I'd be cutting my own hair while living here and get it professionally done when I visited my family in NJ. I was surprised however to call the Hair Palace and find exactly what I wanted and more!!! For $25 she'd trim/braid my hair and also was able to take me the next morning (Dec 23rd). A bit skeptical after calling around and being so disappointed, but I was heartened by the glowing review already on CitySearch so made the appointment and figured it'd be worth a try. The salon is connected to a home, a beautifully converted and added on to garage, it's family owned and staffed. Husband, wife, and daughter all cut/style hair there and the couple of toys around for the daughter's baby was delightful to me since I'm pregnant and looking for a stylist I can actually use once my baby is born. I had my hair done by the Wife, and wow... it's all I can say... she didn't cut too much off, and the braid was beautiful and tight enough to stay nicely until after our Christmas eve and Christmas events. This is not an easy feat since my hair is baby-fine and normally falls out of a simple ponytail several times per day. Even daily showers didn't make it frizz up/fall out! My appointment was made even more pleasant by the steady conversation with me by my stylist and her introducing me to her husband John, another stylist there. Friendly, fast, exemplary service seems to be exactly what this salon strives for and meets and exceeds those goals fantastically! That with an affordable price will keep me coming back over and over. I look forward to my next appointment.
