I love this place! Fun to hunt for treasures, old fixtures or even furniture. The staff has always been helpful and even helped me load my car on one occasion. And I love that the money goes to a great cause. My first stop when I am doing any kind of room remodel.

Tina Pearson White, the principal of Family Partnerships, Inc. claimed to be a Dr. and a led me to believe she was a licensed counselor or professional practitioner. I trusted her and them. Tina Pearson White is not a Dr. in any sense that a lay person like myself would reasonably understand. When I contacted the unaccredited online 'school' that Tina Pearson White alleges to have earned her doctorate from, they advised that Tina Pearson White was not a Dr., but that Tina Pearson White did complete a bible self study program through them. I have asked Tina Pearson White to provide additional support for her claims to being a Dr. and Tina Pearson White has declined. For someone like myself who highly values education, empathy, and professionalism, I would look elsewhere for competent, and compassionate help.As for the Family Partnerships, Inc facilities, I have found them wanting. Generally, the spaces were foul smelling, filthy, and bug-ridden. To subject our children and parents to this kind of environment is just not healthy in my view. See my pictures and judge for yourself. I arrived one morning to find bug bombs on the children's eating and play surfaces with no protection. The facility was not properly ventilated nor were the children toys protected from the toxins. These are but few pictures from the Clearwater and Pasco facilities. (click on my name and photos for even more...) I think they say it best. I think there are better choices and perhaps it is time for a fresh look at who we are contracting with in the Sixth District Court to provide these much needed services in Pasco and Pinellas counties.Steven@Zerbarini.com 727-504-3861

CON'T. FROM TOP OF THE WORLD REVIEW, IN SECTION 2, BECAUSE OF WORD LIMIT. The manager then said, that I needed to speak with the person that I made the appointment with earlier, blaming her for the mix up. She is the manager and the person that makes the decisions ,I needed to speak with her! She knew nothing about the background of this pick up nor did she know anything about us! She was totally disrespectful , ignorant about what had happened and couldn't have cared less!! She refused to work things out and decided that she couldn't solve any problems, but not before she said, that my husband should be ashamed of himself for letting the condo get this way! Her statement, "It looks like a pig sty".( A worker had sent her a picture ) Unbelievable behavior for a manager of any nature, especially a church representative . She definitely has the wrong position , since she totally lacks PR skills. Little did she know that we had worked for 2 days to get the condo ready, so we could donate these items. Many items in their own original boxes! The time frame was very important concerning the pick up since we have a man coming in to put down laminate flooring next week and the condo must be cleaned out for this to happen. The refusal to follow through has delayed us in getting the condo ready for renting again I would love to meet this woman in person since both my husband and I DID NOT DESERVE THIS DISRESPECT! I would like this sent to the attention of David Barringer !
Unfortunately we took the time to investigate buying building materials at what we hoped was a discount price, but this place has nothing. Not a single stick of matched lumber or bag of concrete. Dribs only of primer and buckets of paint...in pink and purple! Tiny lots of matching tile, useless. Dirty sinks and filthy tubs. It made me ill. Books are a bargain at .50 each. Couches looked all right, the rest of the furniture was pretty horrid. I doubt they make enough money to justify their existence. Since they actually give nothing away, to anyone, ever, I don't see how this org. even qualifies as a charity. The authorities need to investigate this "charity" because something just is not right.
