I haven't had a bike in over 20yrs. So when I picked up my brand new 2015 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Custom last October it was like bringing a new baby home...lol. This bike is my pride and joy and aint nuttin' like feelin' the wind on your face and my dreadlocks blowing in the wind. long story short, lol, everybody says that. I would not let anybody dare touch or work on my bike. When I approached Greg and Brian from Custom Cycle Works on some painting I wanted done to blackin' out my handlebars, front/rear/lights, and add a light touch of LEDs to hit the engine, man, you talkin' about poetry in motion. I can barely stop at a light without getting mad-compliments on how great my bike looks. More than anything else, I appreciate on how the staff treated me, I don't know much about bikes (just a rider) but they explained everything in laymen's terms on things I can do to improve performance and get that illusive light growl I'm looking for when I can afford my pipes. These guys are your classic Harley dudes...but they can work on any model or style of bike. Going to their shop is like going to a bike fantasy world...some of the most beautiful custom bikes I have EVER seen. Oh yea, and on the mechanics. I am probably one of thee MOST impatient dudes in the world. I'd come by every-other day to see if it was done yet...lol. They took the time to walk me through the process even though it seemed they had many repairs to do. I wish money grew on trees so I can get them started on my pipes today. Oh Well. Great shop and staff, I aint going anywhere else! Thx guys. Extremely satisfied customer!!

Hello all, they say they rock with customer service and experience! well do not purchase or use this shop if you have problems, they don't honor their work, i also purchased a new battery that is 4 days out of warranty 1 year!!! and they will not honor, money grubbers! also when I was there getting work done many mechanics had to ask each other how a simple task was done, I believe they just hire anyone off the streets, here is your fare warning!!!!
I have been buying parts and having my bike serviced for years at Greg's. The staff makes you feel like part of the crew and they know bikes, oil changes to fabrication, metrics as well as Harleys
They used the head gaskets for a sportster 883 instead of the 1200 which I have when they rebuilt my motor and the excess gasket material burnt the valves & scarred the cylinder walls. I had it back in there more than 6 times since he rebuilt it & finally had to pay someone else to discover what the problem was and correct it. We even found in the repair process that he'd removed parts I paid to have custom machined & put in something else without telling me. The rebuild wound not have even been necessary had he diagnosed it properly. He said he doesn't have enough $ to pay for the problem and I offered to accept reasonable payments but he's non-responsive. I honestly hate that this is most likely going to end up in court because I thought he was a true friend.
Is hard to find a experienced reliable motorcycle mechanic. Steve is excellent goes the extra mile to make sure your bike is done right! Second time I have taken my bike to them and it runs as smooth as butter. Prices are reasonable.
great honest ppl and friendly and great prices on scooter moped parts recomend it to any one
I am so happy I was refered to J & D cycle shop by my friend. The service was outstanding and reliable. The bike was ready when promised and the mechanic was very knowledgable about my paticular model. He explained what needed to be done in a way that even, a novice such as myself could understand. I will definitly maintain my motorcycle at this facility for as long as I have the bike, its that good.
Avoid the service department at all costs! They ended up charging me more than they said it would cost to fix my bike and the bike isn't even fixed! The service manager-plain and simple doesn't care! Now I have to take my bike elsewhere to actually get it fixed. What a waste of time and money! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
After yrs & yrs service - I noticed they swapped out my new tire for a used one after I was home - they denied it of course but the bike was never services elsewhere so whoelese could of donie it -
