About Search Results

YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

Coconut Cove All Suites Resort

BEWARE!!! My mother is coming for cancer treatment in Tampa and so a month ago I booked this "Resort" for our stay. We knew we needed a larger place with a kitchen, wanted it to be beach-side, and a great atmosphere to recoup in. After driving all the way from Jacksonville on 11/30 we arrived in Clearwater .... we drove around the block twice without finding this place, because of the difference from the ACTUAL place and the online picture. This "resort" had complete false advertising on their website!!! When we arrived at 7:40 I was shocked, it looked like a Motel 6 that I would never ever stay at. It was dumpy, small, stuck between 2 major roads, and squished directly next to a liquor store. Online it stated: Clearwater Beach Suites - Steps from the Ocean; an all-suites RESORT (this place is far far far from a resort. It is most definitely a MOTEL) with an outdoor pool & waterfall (yes it does, and that was the only thing nice!) and easy access to white sand beaches (yes if you want to walk across a 2 lane road...and then walk through a block of tall buildings that are ACTUALLY on the beach). And "spacious suites" is a deceptive statement, our tiny room had absolutely no space; and it looked nothing like the picture on their website!!!! The ceilings were very low, it smelled like cigarettes, the bathroom was absolutely gross and outdated! Beware, the online pictures are a lie!!!! On the website it talks of free coffee and tea in "lobby." We drove around the building twice to FIND the lobby. Which was a little room with a desk sitting in the middle of it. I was also told there was a parking fee added to every day's rent (which is normal for a nice establishment); when I arrived I found the parking "garage" to actually be an open parking lot located underneath the motel rooms!!! If you look at the picture online of their pool, they took the picture from a perspective that doesn't show that a parking lot surrounds the entire pool area!!! After all this, I of course refused to stay there with my mother and got a refund for the entire month that I had previously purchased. I would never stay here, and warn everyone that the online photos are completely inaccurate.

Had a reservation for 10 to celebrate a graduation. Arrived at restaurant only to find that our table wasn't ready, but had to wait 30 additional minutes to be seated. When I asked to speak with the manager, he walked passed us many times without any acknowledgement. Once we were directed to our table, the manager Todd Ryan approached me and asked "What was my issue?" Then he begin to yell at me and told me we didn't have to wait, we could have left. We did leave but not before speaking with the assistant GM Rosemary, who listened half heartily to our complain. Took my info down and said she would get with the GM and advised me to write a complaint to some generic email. My letter was written in great detail on May 17th. To date there has been no response from Rosemary or anyone else from Shephard's. I would never eat here again, after 10 years of support. This new management and staff is horrible.

Stay somewhere else. Valet driving - check your odometer. My new jeep had 3 miles on it. The lot is a total of 1/2 mile both ways. Major construction is RIGHT NEXT DOOR.

Clearwater rates were good using the travel agency. We booked with them online, but also called to confirm, and they're customer support was fine. I'd recommend them to anyone looking to stay in Clearwater Beach.

The rooms are always kept Clean and it is somewhere where you can lay your head down and not have to worrie if it is clean. The beach is across the street and everything is close and you can walk to everything.I forgot to mention they do all the cleaning they have no employees...they work very hard and you will not be dissapointed. The rates are beyond affordable do not let the price fool you...It is a great place!!!!!

Just returned from Clearwater ...

Just returned from Clearwater Beach & a week at the Ritz Resort Motel / Westmont Inn. First I want to say that Casey was great! He knew all the best places to send us as he explained he grew up here. Not only would he suggest a restaurant - he would give us a name of a waiter/ waitress or bartender to assure us great service. Often giving us a coupon for free drinks or like a 10% discount on the meal coupon. The secret beach he sent us to was heaven! The most beautiful pristine beach you ever saw and we only seen 3 other people on this beautiful beach absent any condo or hotel high rises. Only about 2 miles away where none of the tourists go or know about. Best shelling! Because the beach cleaning tractor thing doesn't need to come where nobody is leaving trash. If you book here - you gotta go! Veronica and her daughter Jesse at front desk wonderful! I was very impressed by the service of the staff here. The cleaning lady I learned has been here over 16 years, from some European country I forget. She didn't speak the best english but enough to understand our requests for extra towels etc... she would ask, "You want service - I do for you." What a sweet old lady - I had ripped my swim trunks and she takes them from me and repairs them on her sewing machine? Who does this? We had room #21 and the balcony in front was kinda shared with the next room over - but mostly we had it all to ourselves, what a great place to take in the sunsets and have a cold beer. Million dollar views! Beach is just across the street. Clearwaters beach has the most amazing powder white sand, the town keeps it all up & very clean. The walkways in front are wide and accented with artwork/ sculptures. The public restrooms and beach showers also very clean. It is easy to understand once you get here why this beach is rated one of the best in the USA. You will not be disappointed - much better then Miami Beach. The Bad - Sign says heated pool, but still a bit chilly getting in & out. November visit - temp was 70's in day 60's at night. One day was cold with strong winds off Gulf during hurricane Sandy. 5 days out of 6 were nice. No jacuzzi spa. Wireless Internet worked okay but should have password protection as non motel guests using it caused speed to decline. Water pressure in shower could of been better and toilet slow and sometimes required flushing twice to go down. Motel repair guy told us when we informed him of toilet issue that it was our fault because we must be using too much toilet paper and then handed us a plunger. Really? But he also gave us a shot of whiskey from his stash so I suppose that made up for plunging our own toilet. Beds were a bit stiff, but mattress was newer and maybe just needed breaking in more. Some days we got perfect newer towels but a few days got older used 1 too many times older ones. Honestly, it is an older aging motel - probably built in the 50's,or 60's but overall the place was clean. A bit old fashioned furnishings and box style TV no HBO or showtime, no in room movies or DVD player. Yet for the price one can't expect everything new, HD flat screen TV's etc... like you may find at a Raddison or Hilton. The place is a bit of a throw back, but in a good way. Nostalgic is a word that comes to mind. The Ritz Carlton it is not. Feels more like a bed and breakfast without the breakfast. Coffee and cheap cookies only. Packaged Cinnamon rolls or Honey Buns - even if you had to pay a dollar for one would be my suggestion. Having to pay 1.00 for dish soap seemed a bit silly, to wash few dishes we used. Left the rest in mini bottle for next guests. Others we met had been there numerous times previously also. After our stay, we can't wait for next year and want to return as well. Easy to see why this place has mostly repeat clientele. Really the best value - when you compare prices to other near by places on beach. Staff makes you feel like your visiting their family.
