This pharmacy needs to be investigated for fraud because:1. Received email perscription was due to be refilled.2. Followed up email notification with a phone call reminder.3. Entered order for perscription online.4. Received phone call that it was ready for pickup.5. Arrived to pickup 6. Was told their system was not taking express pay.7. Paid cash, left store8. Checked credit card transactions the following day.9. There were two charges "pending" for the same perscription that they said their system was not accepting.10. Net charged three (3) times for same perscription.11. Notified store. They said I had to bring in Credit Card statement for proof that I was overcharged.12. Called Corporate. They said same thing.13. Cannot dispute credit card charges that are in "pending."Conclusion: If Walgreens over all the world are doing this same thing, just think how much cash their books will show on hand. After books close they will be glad to issue refunds. This foreign-owned pharmacy needs to be investigated.
I have lived in Clayton over eight years and have tried all the pharmacies, including Walmart. Walgreens has become my preferred pharmacy except during the time they were not participating with Express Scripts. As a retired veteran that was inconvenient. But that aside I have always found Walgreens a preferred pharmacy whereever I have been.
