Soon after moving in with my boyfriend we decided we needed to renovate our basement before it got worse...it had been gutted to the studs in most places and there was black mold on the insulation and drywall that was left. My father is a contractor out of state and I knew exactly how I wanted it to turn out, and may be more skeptical than most. I called around and had a few other construction companies come to give estimates those who actually came out for the scheduled appointment were unprofessional and never even called back with the estimate. Finally I called Hudson, Jesse came out, next day and spent time walking through everything we wanted done. We talked about everything, raising ceilings, broadening doorways, adding a closet to the bedroom, reinforcing doorways, etc. He was honest and told me about potential problems and we trouble shot most everything. We scheduled the project and it was completed within 3 weeks. We added on several small tasks throughout the construction and it was still completed within a few days of his projected date. We decided to finish the bedroom and redoing several walls to completely destroy the mold problem. Jesse even sprayed bleach one night to make sure it was treated on the studs. They reinforced the wall so we could mount our TV with no concern, built in a place to house our electronics that is also accessible from the bedroom closet. Through the project they found some structural issues with the house but always came to me and we discussed options and what would be best and he completed it all on time. The whole process ran great, it was a custom basement remodel, and we truly felt as if it was custom treatment as well. The process was so quick and turned out perfect, even despite all of our additions and changes! We plan to use Hudson Construction for more projects in the future and have discussed building our next house with Jesse. I recommend Hudson Construction to anyone looking for an affordable, easy contracting experience for projects large and small.

They came out 3 times to re-tarp roof while we were waiting on insurance claim to be processed. We did not even have a contract with Hudson, but once the funds became available from insurance company, we hired Hudson Construction Group because we saw how concerned they were about keeping our family dry and how fast and friendly the service was. Since the replacing our roof, we have had no issues with the install and not to mention 2 of our neighbors have complimented the new roof. I would recommend Hudson Construction Group to family, friends, or anyone who is needing repairs to their home. This company was recommended through a friend. I was extremely happy with the services they offered. The roofing project was an insurance claim. They began the project with enough monies for materials. The insurance company was slow in sending out the claim monies and required additional information and pictures. HCG stayed on top of it and were patient for the insurance payment. Satisfied with their service and patience, I hired them again to fix a problem from a previous handyman. It was a patio door. They were able to repair the damage without ruining the door and put a nice concrete finish similar to the original door. Again extremely happy with their work. I will be hiring them for future work. Not only is work performance important, I found that their customer service, timelines, and support were the best I've experienced in the Clarksville area. Thank you Jesse! It was a pleasure as I'm sure it will be in the near future.
We are military and were in the middle of a transfer when we were originally contacted about our roof by local con men looking for the extra insurance money!! Once we had relocated out of state to another post, the con men gave a constant run around. Finally, I looked up other roofing contractors and found Hudson Construction. The owner was more than accommodating, friendly and gave an excellent bid on the job. Our good friend/previous neighbor handled the transaction for us (checking out their work & giving them our payment once completed). Our friend said they were friendly (with her) and got the job done quickly!! We sold the house shortly after the new roof was in place and we couldn't be happier!!! We took a chance on a company we had no clue about. Being out of town it could have been a disaster. Hudson Construction really did right by us, we would highly recommend them to any one & everyone!!!
We just had Hudson Construction finish a garage conversion for us and we couldn t be happier. We had gotten several bids and in the end chose Hudson Construction because Jesse is very upfront and was able to give us options to fit our budget. We had HCG convert part of one stall of our large 2 stall garage into a bedroom and hallway to lead into our existing family room. They did an awesome job tying the two together and it looks like it has always been this way. The drywall and finish work is excellant - better than our existing. We also had them finish the rest of the garage by insulating, drywalling and putting in a drop ceiling. Not only does it look amazing, it will stay much warmer during the cooler months ahead. I would recommend Hudson Construction to anyone, and have. Jesse is a real honest, down-to-earth guy and a pleasure to work with.
Hudson Construction Group did a complete backyard renovation on our house to include a large (20x16) lower deck, retaining wall, raised bed garden, and fence. The entire project has transformed our back yard from a eye sore to a selling point. Jesse is an amazing contractor who dealt with us as friends as my wife and I came continually came up with changing plans throughout the job. Jesse was more then accommodating to us and worked to give us an amazing final product. I was very impressed with this business! My insurance company had originally said they were not going to cover the damage to my roof, but Mr. Ramsey met with the insurance company for a second time to show all the damage he had found and got my roof covered 100% by the insurance company. He even came over and put a tarp on the area where my roof was leaking and called to make sure it was still in place after storms while we waited for everything with the insurance to go through. The job was completed quickly and proficiently. They even cleaned up after the job. I got so many compliments from my neighbors on my new roof. I would highly recommend this company to anyone! We will definitely use this company for more work in the future for sure!
I called Hudson Construction Group to get a quote on putting a roof over my deck, Jesse came out the very next day and after explaining what I was wanting to do, gave me some good ideas and explained the whole process to me. My husband and I built a new home. Hudson Construction was the General Contractor and did an awesome job. They were honest and up front. The cost was within 5,000 of the quoted price. They gave us great advise helping us to avoid costly mistakes. If your building a new home or if your remodeling and existing home we highly recommend them. We had a very small budget and still have hard wood floors and granite counters. A shower that is out of this world. There isn't anything we would change we are very happy with our new home.
