I've been going to this location for almost 8 years. The pharmacist are knowledgeable and helpful anytime I have questions. (Update 1-4-18) I'm still using this pharmacy and I am absolutely happy. All of the staff are professional and courteous. You're greeted coming in the door and helped out when you need it. The pharmacy is extremely busy but all the staff takes it in stride, stays calm, smiles, which in turn keeps the customers less stressful also. And the team work is awesome! It definitely helps me calm down while I'm picking up my medication, which is 3 or more times a month.
Filling a prescription @ the pharmacy here. The lady at drop off neglected to update an address on file from about 8 years ago. We shopped around the store for about an hour while waiting for pickup. Waited in line and got to the register where a different associate asked for the address on file in order to pick up. Unfortunately I didn't remember the street number. While I could verify the social, date of birth, and full name, they would not release the prescription without that address, even though I told her that no one asked me to update it and multiple associates confirmed that as well as that it should have been done at the time of drop off. I was quite upset as we needed the medication and it was too late to go to another pharmacy and told them I would need the prescription back in order to take my business elsewhere. The manager, Mr. McKenzie, brought me the prescription and apologized, stating that he would be having a personal talk with the employee for not updating the information as she was required to do. After a brief explanation directly from me, he actually was able to run the prescription back through the system and rush everything through so we didn't have to wait in line again. He spent his personal time doing this and came out from behind the counter to thank me for being so patient, apologize for both the wait and inconvenience and express his understanding of how important it was that medications be handled quickly and appropriately without error. He informed me that he was new to the store and was doing his best to get past issues turned around and put the pharmacy back on the right track. Mr. McKenzie was an example of excellent management and customer care and brought me from an angry customer, ready to walk out and never use the pharmacy again, to a loyal client with respect for his leadership and clear commitment to his customers. He was absolutely wonderful.
I would have to say that I am very disappointed at this place. Although it is a cute local business that I would love to use it more often, this will not be the case. I went there to buy a product that I had specific questions about it. the staff helped me with the concerns I had about the different products and reassured this was the correct one. I used it once at home and it indeed had the issue I ws concerned about it. When I went back a couple of days after, product was in the box, I had receipt in hand. They tested the product, saw that my concern was valid, but did not take the product back. At $45.00 this is something I used once under their recommendation! I am sad to say that I will not be recommending Sango Pharmacy to my friends and family. The staff was not helpful, or friendly to this product. It is very sad to see small local businesses as such... This is the reason why people use bigger national business. They are more crowded but they do stand by the product they sell. Sango pharmacy does not! Btw- there are no signs anywhere in the store or the receipt that talks about their return policy!
I like it but I discovered a store called World Mart International Marketplace that sells Indian & other international spices and hard to find food in Clarksville that saved me a trip to Nashville. Tree of life is good but they do not have a unique food items as I expected.
Just because they claim to be a small business and not a chain pharmacy and that's supposed to appeal to customers by passing on savings or a friendly atmosphere it couldn't be farther from the truth! They are EXTREMELY rude (the HEFTY older one behind the counter) and the pharmacist as well. They do NOT except any saving coupons where pharmacys like Rige Aid do. So when choosing a pharmacy try a true local pharmacy like krogers!
Great alternative to driving to Nashville. It like a small version of Whole Foods, Harris Teeter, or Trader Joes. The staff working anytime Ive shopped there have respectfully greeted customers upon arrival. They appear educated, informational about the products they sell, and proud to work there. They even have new specialty products I had not seen at the other stores. Great store!
I have never felt so disrespected in a store. The male employee greeted my friend and I warmly and was lovely. The female employee in the store was extremely rude and condescending. She spoke to us like we had no idea about food, of any kind not just organic. While standing in front if the bulk spices reaching up to grab one, she walks over with another customer and pushes her way in front of me. I said " Excuse me it wasn't like I was standing here trying to get some spices or anything." She and the other customer completely ignored me and continued to block my path and push me further out of the way. I put all the groceries I was going to purchase down. And walked out of the store. I am so disappointed, I was hoping I wouldn't have to drive to Nashville to go to Whole Foods. But I will never go back to Tree of Life. I would rather make the trip to Nashville where they actually want your business.
They are great with their clients and the cheapest on prices.
After finding out about tree of life this past week, I went to check it out and see what they had to offer. Unfortunately I have to say that I am disappointed with this venue. I asked the cashier where the produce came from, her answer was: "locally, as we support our local vendors, some come from kentucky". Well, my tomatoes had a sticker from Mexico, the mangoes from Peru and bananas had a Dole organic sticker from Colombia. For those of us who have bought eggs locally, we also know the difference between the yoke color, the brighter orange/red, the better… the eggs were the same color as the range free eggs from walmart, - and at almost $10.00 a pound for mixed greens, I was not impressed. Great concept, but I don't think I will be coming back. There are smaller vendors in the area who sell for much less and are for sure picking up their produce in their back yard.
Not only is this charming, cozy pharmacy full of unique gifts and healthy products, their service is impeccable! None of the giant chains could get my son's prescription for 6- 8 weeks! I turned in desperation to this little place and Catherine immediately ordered it and had it shipped overnight at no charge. Then, considering the difficulty I'd had and being sympathetic to my horror toward a 5 day school break w an unmedicated severe adhd 7 year old, she called me before the next refill was due to ensure she had it ordered in time for the Thanksgiving holiday. I seriously LOVE this pharmacy. Drop the cold, sterile hustle of wherever you go and get to know these awesome people!
