Their best interest doesn't seem to lie with the tenants or property owners. I rented a home from Horizon during December 2017 - October 2019 in Oak Grove. I then purchased my own home in Clarksville afterwards, and stayed in it until I came down on orders to leave Fort Campbell. I decided against my better judgment to use Horizon as my property manager. They managed my property from Noveber 2020 until October 2021. Renting a house from their business was mediocre at best. Things would need fixed or repaired, I'd call in an order and it would sometimes take weeks to get fixed. When I moved out I was given a checklist to follow, and I did it to the T. I didn't receive but $60 of my $1000 damage deposit upon moving out, and the home was in better shape when I left it. They made up several charges and fees to justify them holding my deposit. Now I'll talk about my experience using them as a property manager. They again charged me a cleaning fee after we already hired a cleaning service to prep the house for move in. I think it was $350 they charged me after I already paid a service $250. They don't have to disclose repairs to you as the owner if they're under $250. But what they won't tell you is that there can be 3 repairs for $200 a piece totaling up to $600 and they still won't notify you of them. Then when you're planning on receiving your rent it's short $600 and they act oblivious to the fact. They aren't in the people business, they're in business to line their own pockets. Overall I had a terrible experience with this company and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Horizon Realty was easy to work with, helped me with all my needs and was very accommodating throughout the whole process.

Horizon Realty is a great company to hire for any rental management you may need. They have done an excellent job for us so far.
