I have to say that the instructors here are kindhearted ppl but they are in business with member solutions, one of the worst companies that deal with payments and their contracts. I had become disabled so I could not go to the Karate classes anymore. I was in the process of getting the form signed and proof of disability and was not able to turn in the form until 4 months after I found out due to a constant switch in doctors. I lost about $300 because the company they keep aka member solutions refuses to give refunds. They need to find another company that actually values customers because the actual school does not take responsibility for anything that may happen with Member solutions. Read your contract because once they get it, they do not care for you, they will rob you blind, whether you are disabled, active duty military, or just cannot attend anymore. I'm deciding on if I want to fight it. If I do I will have to speak on the school and member solutions.
Thanks for teaching my wife how to shoot. She absolutely LOVED IT!
Not family friendly, despite what they claim. Stay away if you have kids; you're better off elsewhere until they fix the childcare issues that they brought on themselves.
I wouldn't Recommend this place to anyone! I joined this place a few years ago and when I went in they told me they were running a special if I signed up for a 3 year membership but that day was the last day they would have it at such a great rate. Well I did against my better judgement and after the fist time I went I noticed the staffs attitude chance and they were just flat out rude! I now see when they have you in a contract they could careless about you bc there is no way out! I asked many time if I could just get out of it and they told me if I moved (but had to bring in proff it was over 100 miles away) and that was the only way.. I was paying $70 a month for almost the past 3 years and one day I went in to cancel (last july) and they told me I had to wait till feb 2015 before I could, so I signed some paperwork (to cancel as of feb 2015) and then left and didn't think much more of it. Well I looked at the bank statement and noticed they are still charging me. I called today and asked questions about why I was still being charged and the lady was just a complete b! Told me they have no record of me canceling and if I wanted to I had to put in a 30day noticed (well after my 3 years I've already paid) This place is CRAP and I only went 4 to 5 time in the last 3 years but still had to pay... I'm glad Planet Fitness came to town so these people wont use and take advantage of more people like myself!
Awesome place to get in shape. The place is full of energy and other people focused on fitness. Really fun!
Awesome place for anyone! Harris Holt has everything from kids classes to MMA. All the instructors are knowledgeable and really take an interest in trying to teach you regardless of how much experience or talent you have. Also a side note, their facility is really clean and professional and they are opening up a second location to add more MMA , kickboxing, boxing, and women's classes! I would definitely recommend Harris Holt!
This is the best school in the area. I read ALL the reviews online and went around to check all of them out and i found this school to be the best! Everyone at the school is really nice and the facility is great. I dont know what these other guys are talking about, but i learned a lot in my first class. All the instructors are knowledgable and make will help you on anything you need. I have son that does their karate program and he loves it. I decided the do their MMA program and it is far superior to anything else in the area. I made sure to do my homework before picking a school and i definitely made the right choice!!
I went here after trying out Harris Holt (kids gym) and Title Boxing (not a real boxing gym, no sparring). This gym was a little to hard core for me most of the people were fighters and they train like they all have fights coming up. I have no MMA experience so I felt lost, they had the heat on and it had to be over 100 in the gym. They did tell me that there are beginners classes avail but I think I will have to wait until I'm in better shape to try them out again. My search continues for a beginners MMA gym, if I were a pro or good amateur I would join them but not yet.
I went to Harris Holt to check out their MMA class and I was really unhappy with it. There was a little girl in the class. The "fighters" were young high school aged and out of shape middle aged guys. I have no MMA experience at all but I did wrestle in high school and have taken combatives in the Army and I can't see how they could get me ready for a cage fight.
Not a true boxing gym. They don't allow sparring. I was told on facebook that they could get me ready for golden gloves but when I showed up they tried to sign me up to a contract and when I asked about sparring about 10 times they told me that they do any kind of sparring. How am I going to get ready for golden gloves with no sparring? Title is a cardio gym and that's all it is.
I have been coming to Circuit Athletics for 4 to 5 months. I enjoy doing Yoga because it has helped me with my flexibility and endurance! I noticed that I am getting stronger and it helps with tension! Way to go!
