Not family friendly, despite what they claim. Stay away if you have kids; you're better off elsewhere until they fix the childcare issues that they brought on themselves.
I wouldn't Recommend this place to anyone! I joined this place a few years ago and when I went in they told me they were running a special if I signed up for a 3 year membership but that day was the last day they would have it at such a great rate. Well I did against my better judgement and after the fist time I went I noticed the staffs attitude chance and they were just flat out rude! I now see when they have you in a contract they could careless about you bc there is no way out! I asked many time if I could just get out of it and they told me if I moved (but had to bring in proff it was over 100 miles away) and that was the only way.. I was paying $70 a month for almost the past 3 years and one day I went in to cancel (last july) and they told me I had to wait till feb 2015 before I could, so I signed some paperwork (to cancel as of feb 2015) and then left and didn't think much more of it. Well I looked at the bank statement and noticed they are still charging me. I called today and asked questions about why I was still being charged and the lady was just a complete b! Told me they have no record of me canceling and if I wanted to I had to put in a 30day noticed (well after my 3 years I've already paid) This place is CRAP and I only went 4 to 5 time in the last 3 years but still had to pay... I'm glad Planet Fitness came to town so these people wont use and take advantage of more people like myself!
Awesome place to get in shape. The place is full of energy and other people focused on fitness. Really fun!
I went here after trying out Harris Holt (kids gym) and Title Boxing (not a real boxing gym, no sparring). This gym was a little to hard core for me most of the people were fighters and they train like they all have fights coming up. I have no MMA experience so I felt lost, they had the heat on and it had to be over 100 in the gym. They did tell me that there are beginners classes avail but I think I will have to wait until I'm in better shape to try them out again. My search continues for a beginners MMA gym, if I were a pro or good amateur I would join them but not yet.
Not a true boxing gym. They don't allow sparring. I was told on facebook that they could get me ready for golden gloves but when I showed up they tried to sign me up to a contract and when I asked about sparring about 10 times they told me that they do any kind of sparring. How am I going to get ready for golden gloves with no sparring? Title is a cardio gym and that's all it is.
I have been coming to Circuit Athletics for 4 to 5 months. I enjoy doing Yoga because it has helped me with my flexibility and endurance! I noticed that I am getting stronger and it helps with tension! Way to go!
