I ordered a Kale chicken Caesar salad for take out. I was incredibly disappointed! I thought I was going to have a traditional Caesar salad, but was surprised to see roasted tomatoes that had red pepper flakes. A salad should not be spicy! I have never had red pepper flakes in my salad before. I was expecting nice leafy kale greens with a creamy Caesar dressing. Instead, I had chopped greens that were oversaturated and wilted with a runny dressing which clearly did not taste remotely like a Caesar salad dressing. I called the restaurant to complain and was told that their menu had changed in late November to include their salads. I explained that I wanted a traditional Caesar salad, not a chopped salad. I was told that both the chopped and the traditional salad had the roasted tomatoes and spicy red pepper flakes. I was told that I had to specify how I wanted the Caesar salad to be made. The person I spoke with offered to have a new salad prepared, but when I declined, and thankfully offered to reimburse me. I will not be ordering a salad there again!
