Although we were seated in a section that was over half empty, the staff adamantly refused to put tables together to seat our party of 10 together. I found this very unhospitable. The staff person said "folks, that ain't happening". How very gracious!
Beef fajitas were 50% fat and grissel
DISCRIMINATION ALERT. I went to this place by myself on April 8, 2014, because my company sent me to the Detroit area for training, and one of my coworkers recommended this place. After I was escorted to the bar since all the tables were full, NO GREETINGS FROM THE BARTENDERS. I sat there for a while with nothing. I requested the food menu to the server who walked by. I received the menu, went through the menu, and decided what I would order. I was looking straight at the eyes of the bartenders and servers around me for a long long time, but NO ONE CAME TO ME TO SERVE. EVEN NO WATER BROUGHT. Then, this Caucasian couple came and sat right next to me. IMMEDIATELY, THE FEMALE BARTENDER SAID TO THE COUPLE, "I'LL BE RIGHT THERE WITH YOU, OKAY?" Really?? Seriously??? For you information, I am Asian. She asked the Caucasian couple what they would like to drink, and the drinks were right there in no time. I decided to just leave, and started putting my two cellphones into my purse while I was shaking my head. When she sensed that I was upset, she then asked me what I would like to drink. Of course I just left. I literally wasted my time and drove 1 hour round trip just to be discriminated against and humiliated in such a bold way.
this is a great place to eat the quality of the food is excellent and the prices are very reasonable and the sevice is good as well . this place is a must go
I had been going for over a year for lunch once or twice a week - they have an inexpensive lunch special that I have always enjoyed. I brought friends and family to them often. Unfortunately on my last visit a wad of paper came up through my straw and into my mouth... I asked the waitress what it was and she took it to the manager. After a few minutes she came back and said the manager said "it did not come from here", inferring that I had contaminated my own drink. I was so insulted I left and will never return. To treat a good customer like that is appalling.
Food gets a 1/10Server had no teeth and wasn't very nice...Got our food, ate a couple bites, got the bill, went to clarkston union...
Awesome food and service every time. Great prices!
I love their food as long as I eat in. The fish dinner and pot pie soup is great. This is one of my family's favorite restaurants My daughter loves their fresh pita and Greek salad. I would never get take out again. I told a friend of mine about the restaurant and she said how they had gotten take out and how bad it was so i decide to change her mind after eating there and got her take out. The baked potato was black inside ( I am sure they could see that) the pot pie soup had very little veggies or meat inside and the fluff biscuit was soggy( they should put these on the side). The fish was soggy from the container, I didn't change her mind.
This place is one of my favorites! I love the old church look and the community feeling. This place is loud with the sounds of people chatting and it's a comfortable atmosphere. The staff is always really friendly and super knowledgable about the huge selection of beers. I usually get the Cobb salad or the press, my dad orders the Mac n cheese every time. It's a very unique and fun place to eat.
Have been here twice already and will return. Usually very busy, but I've found it well worth the wait. Great food and very good service (we like Josh). He's been there since they opened and we always get great service.
