Maaco Collision Repair & Auto Painting

Eight weeks ago, I came to Maaco, in Clackamas, to get my car repaired. My front bumper wasn't properly attached to my car. It needed to be fixed.

A superficial lady, named Whitney, evaluated my car, gave a price and said she would order the parts. She told me that she would call me when I needed to bring the car, but never did. I had to go after five days and check on them. They gave me an appointed time slot. I brought the car and they kept it for a day, only to tell me that don't have time to fix it. At the end of the day they called me back to get my car. I insisted and they gave me another time slot, a week later (I needed the car that week). I came back with the car and left it there. They never called me, so I came back the next day to check it again. Guess what? It was "done" but they never called me to get it back. When I took a closer look at the bumper, they never fixed anything. The bumper was as wobbly as the day before. I told Whitney but she told me that they changed the interior parts (how can I know that?) and she treated me indifferently.

Basically I paid $113 for nothing, but time wasted and a lot of frustration. I wanted to write some reviews on different media platforms, but I wanted to let them know first. They didn’t bother to answer to me so here we are.

Don't expect me to come to Maaco again or to ever recommend you guys to anyone. If you value your business, change your attitude and your services! I am very disappointed with you!

Just got my 2003 Honda Civic today and it looks amazing! I visited several Maacos to see who would give me a good quote, but most importantly, who would be honest about their assessment towards my car. This place did both. They were able to explain all their different painting options and which one they thought would work with my car. Additionally, they clearly told and showed me the type of body work that needed to be done. They even worked with my budget and met me in the middle. I will definitely take my future cars here!

Took our 1991 Chevy StepVan (that we'll be using for business) to this location and the body work and two-tone paint job they did was OUTSTANDING! Their attention to detail and final presentation of the work was more than we could have hoped for. Because of the work they did, our customers we'll have a better experience!

Although my '96 Toyota Camry still runs superb, the exterior was definitely in need of attention. Upon initial arrival I was warmly greeted by both the owner and manager. After the owner listened attentively to what I was looking for, he had his manager walk me through a detailed explanation of their services during the estimate process. She was thorough, up-front, and honest. When I returned to pick up my car I could hardly believe it was the same one. They removed all minor body dents, a few scrapes from the bumper, and did multiple coats of paint that were all very well done. The car honestly looked new. I didn't go in asking for their cheapest option, but when they were finished I was incredibly pleased with the work. Detailed, professional, and fair. For any paint job, I highly recommend.

Received many quotes for a moderate but difficult dent repair on my pickup. They were the lowest cost, but was still unsure due to some Maaco shops so so quality work. After a few weeks of though I decided to get it repaired as I knew I might never get a quote in this price range again. They said it would take one week to do the job, after this week I received a call from the quality control person that they were unhappy with the work done and wanted to keep it longer to do a re-work. At first I was worried, but then was impressed they didn't want to return my truck with a poor repair, I agreed. After 11 days I was re-contacted and was told it was ready. After an inspection I will say they did a very good job on the repair, knowing were the dent was, I can still tell it was patched, but if you never knew it was there, you would not see it. Good job Maaco and Thank You, would come back, hope I don't have to :)

This is the place to go! Many people are skeptical of Maaco work because of the 300 dollar budget paint job they offer. Let me tell you, this shop is very professional. If you want a excellent paint job for a very good price (around 900 dollars) don't be afraid to take your car here! They will not disappoint you. I took my Acura in for a full paint job (base and clear coats) with some minor body work and it looks as good as new and for half the price as many other shops! Whitney you are the best!

I stumbled upon this particular Maaco Shop about four years ago. I was in need of body work and a complete paint job. From day one, I was very impressed with the professionalism I was greeted with. They did excellent work. I have used them many times over the years and every time my expectations were exceeded. I have recommended them to countless people, all with great results. Their attention to detail is superb. Their prices have always been very reasonable. I highly recommend them.

Whitney was awesome - she was able to give me a free estimate and walked me through the process of getting a full evaluation if needed and informed us of anything before anything would be charged to us. She is very understanding and has been great with working with us as we figure out where to go with our vehicle collision. Great customer service and she has been very helpful and gracious towards me as I'm figuring out what to do with my totaled vehicle - even being patient and not charging a storage fee ($25/day) upfront like many other places would.
