Right when i got my very first puppy, Scout, I started bringing him here because he had so much energy and the dogs really do get ALL DAY PLAY here. The Play yard is huge and they have a trampoline and little swimming pools set up for the dogs to play in. The supervisors are out there with them too playing fetch with the dogs and Scout LOVES fetch. There is a large and small dog area too so all the dogs are conmfortable. Waggin Tails has a nice website and features one dog each month as the Top Dog. Andrea, the owner, writes a very nice and fitting description of the dog and posts it with a picture:) Andrea also does Halloween costume day photo ops and posts those pics too. Scout absolutely LOVES this place and had made tons of friends here. As soon as we get in the car to go home he immediately passes out:). Andrea is a fabulous dog daycare owner and total dog lover. She is also a nurse, so everything is covered, just in case someone gets hurt. I 100% recommend this daycare to any dog owner, even special need dogs thrive here.

Always a friendly smile when you walk in the door. I've taking all my animals to this location since getting our dog in 2008. Would recommend to my …
I have been going to this vet clinic since 1996 and have never had anything but outsounding service, compassionate doctors and friendly staff. I have lost 3 dogs since attending this clinic and the manner in which they handled these difficult times was nothing less than amazing. The vet came out to my car to administer the drugs to end my dogs suffering (2 died of cancer and were terminal at this point). I'm not sure why Maya had such a bad experience because I've always been in the room when my dogs and cats were examined. One vet tech even took my dog home each night with her to provide 24 hour round the clock care when he was recovering from bloat surgery and then from a pulmonary embolism. I think the only reason he pulled through both critical conditions was due to their extra special loving care. I've been to other vet clinics before this and have never been as impressed as I am with this clinic. They've always gone the less expensive, less intrusive route first and never pressured me to go with the more expensive treatments.
We have 7 animals and they are all aging, so when we moved we were looking for a vet that could handle all our needs. Sylvan Corners has been good for us so far. Pricing is about average, and they are good about giving you high and low estimates and discussing alternative options. They have good sales on flea products which can make a huge difference in how much we pay for it. We use Dr. Cohen, and my only (semi) complaint is that she is quick to refer to a specialist$$$ if the problem appears to be out of her scope. This is probably the right thing to do, I just hate how much is costs when it happens. All the animals seem to like the staff and vets, and we never have a problem getting an appointment. They are flexible and offer cheap vaccinations on the weekends. Front desk help and techs are all great.
my 4-year-old toy poodle has gone to All about Pets for grooming since she was 5 months old. Her groomer, Angel does an awesome job re: the grooming plus provides additional TLC so important to me. I've used All About Pets grooming service for many years for 3 prior poodles until they passed away. Angel and Arianne took extra care when my pets reached old age to make them comfortable during their grooming. I don't hesitate to recommend this grooming service to other people. While I usually use another veterinarian, Dr. Zucca has given my pets excellent care when they've been seen during the grooming visit.
It's always a good experience. The vets are caring and professional. There are many vets closer to my home, but I was recommended by a long time family friend and have never been disappointed.. All about pets is prompt with appointments and those who work there give are delightful.I have trouble with my legs and on my last visit I was having a bad day. I never left my car, they came and got my dog, brought him back and brout the bill back to me to sign. Then the Dr. came out and explain every thing that was done. All about pets will always be my dogs vet.
I have been there so many times, I'm about to graduate from having a folder to having a binder for all my pet's medical records. And in all the time I have spent in the waiting room, I have NEVER seen them refuse treatment to an animal in crisis - like one review indicated. Staff run to assist and get the animal straight back for evaluation and care. Also, someone posted derogatory comments about the staff, which is ludicrous. All the staff, from receptionists, to techs, to vets, to groomers are professional, courteous, kind, and caring - and clean.
I took my dog Sasha to this vet 20 minutes before they closed. They got me in, they were really busy at the time. They found a small fracture in her leg and splinted her leg, and gave her some pain medications to help her. I called another local vet and they just tried to send me to an emergency clinic which are extremely expensive. I bet the first hospital I called was not as busy as Sylvan, but they still got me right in and worked late. I had to write this so people in Citrus Heights know that this place really cares about your pet.
The good people at All About Pets have been caring for our animals for almost 20 years. We originally went there because it was close to our home, but we now make the drive all the way from Folsom because the care is so good. They are cost conscious on behalf of their patients and, when possible, have even ordered Rx's for our pets from Wal Mart because it is cheaper. This actually costs All About Pets money because I would have never known this was possible and would have simply paid the full cost.
I have been to many vets over the years but All About Pets and Dr. Zucca are far and away the absolute best. She and the other vets are extremely knowledgeable on a wide variety of animals. I have taken my chickens, ducks, turkey, rabbit, and cats there and received excellent, caring treatment. Dr. Zucca has always been very good at providing a number of treatment options, so I can choose what works best for our budget while still providing excellent care for my pets.
I'm surprised to see some of these very low-rated reviews. I've never experienced anything but professionalism and kindness with the five pets that are patients at Sylvan Pet Hospital. It's the first vet that I don't feel pressure from when making decisions about treatment options. I have a couple of high-needs dogs and they are well taken care of at Sylvan. I'm glad I was referred and will continue to seek care here for my animals.
