Alonzo's Pizza Depot

This resteraunt has been in the Robinson family for years. My grandpa Lonnie works extremely hard to keep his pizza and other things on his menu 5 star, EVERY TIME! When I work there during the summer I always enjoy hearing people say that he has the best pizza they've ever tasted. We have a lot of customers who have been eating our pizza for as long as the resteraunt has been around. I highly reccomend giving us a visit!

We go here whenever we want a really good pizza. The owner is a really nice guy and is always smiling. I like that the resturant is set-up in a fun train theme. All of their food is great, I could make the garlic twists into a meal alone. GREAT, GREAT PIZZA.

I am 21 years old and I have been going with my family to Pizza Depot since I was about 6. We absolutely love it. It has grown to be our family favorite, if you can't tell! The toppings are fantastic and the stuffed crust pizza is delicious. We love Lonnie (Alonzo) the owner. He's a great guy and works hard to make sure his pizza remains top notch. I recommend everyone try this place, and I promise if you like hearty pizza, you won't be dissapointed =)

Alonzo's Pizza Depot is simply the best pizza anywhere. Whether it's the original, deep dish or the mighty stuffed, you can look near & far but you'll never find a more delicious pizza. And I have the credentials to judge. I've tried pizza's from over 100 DIFFERENT pizza establishments and none were even in the same league as Pizza Depot. True, you can buy a less expensive pizza somewhere else, but as the saying goes, ""you get what you pay for"". For those who want a true ""gourmet pizza"", Alonzo's Pizza Depot is where you'll find it.

Best deep-dish pizza I've ever had. Unfortunately, my family and I stopped eating there because they consistently screwed up our orders (failing to leave onions off the pizza, or giving us the wrong pizza altogether). On the upside, we usually ended up with a free pie. I'll probably end up going back, but at the time (1999 or 2000), it scared us off. If they've upgraded from the sloppy-looking teenage workers they used to have, then you'll probably fare better!

Oh, and as long as I'm being negative, I miss their original location at the other end of the strip mall...it was much bigger and had more atmosphere.

I visit the Sacramento area on business approx every 4 months. With every visit i make sure i eat at Alonzo's Pizza Depot. This small famliy business has the atmosphere of an intimate restaurant, yet serves the best pizza you could ever lay your lips on. My favorite is: fresh sausage, artichoke, garlic,with Alonzos ""fresh toms"" (an original recipe of sauteed roma tomatoes) instead of a sauce. Everything is fresh, made daily. The garlic cheese twist are enough to drive anyone to heaven! Alonzos offers four different types of pizza: the original deck, deep dish, take/bake, and the Chicago Stuffed. When they state Chicago stuffed pizza on their menu, they were not kidding. I have visited Chicago and have enjoyed some of the best pizza ever. Alonzos Pizza will match any of Chicagos best pizzas. I never return home without a couple to freeze so that i can enjoy later.
