We've put together a small list to get you started on your journey -- and the first step starts with a single box.
I have used Two Men and a Truck twice before to move a household. This time I used them to move a single heavy item. The two guys who came out, Chad and Lashawn, were very professional and had the item moved in a very short time. The office staff that I scheduled with, Megan and Kathie, were also very polite, professional and helpful.
Fast but careful! The guys were super nice. Arrived on time and finished well before the estimate. Would use them again.
The 3 young men were very eager to help. They worked continuously. Very good manners, thorough and pleasant. The day was hot and the home we were moving from had 3 floors. Not easy. But they did not complain. I would recommend them to any and all.
It was good to move out of one house but the move into of house... 3 to 5 they were to deliver, they called at 6pm to inform me that my truck would be to our house by 730pm... no truck. The truck and exhausted workers showed up at 830pm (still with no phone call and since it was on a Saturday, no one to contact)... The movers themselves were polite and apologetic - again not their fault their company over booked them and I tipped them well to make up for a night that kept going...- the company not so much. They gave me $100 off a $1500++ bill to compensate for my 5+ hour late delivery. They didn't care I lost my deposit for my painters that we're scheduled to start that night after the items were moved in, or the deposit for my fish tanks to be set up (not to mention the dead fish I have BECAUSE they had no tanks to set up because they were on the moving truck...) $100 off, that's it... don't waste your time going around and around with them... it's not worth the frustration. I gave them many times to compensate for this issue but nothing was done.
They moved me from house to house, no stops in between. The move seemed great until I started putting my pool table together and realized I'm missing all the rails, it is a $6000 pool table and some how they are missing??? I also noticed after doing an inventory I missing other antique items. I should have checked the truck before they left.
Mini Movers was contracted by a shipping company to deliver and assemble a treadmill I purchased. They showed up on the scheduled delivery date and time; however, the crew sent to assemble my treadmill broke a part and they told me they could have a new part delivered and would be back in 1-2 days to assemble. This was not a true statement and they left an unassembled hazard in the middle of my floor. They told me they would take care of getting the new part. I had arranged with Mini Movers to pick up the broken treadmill on 12/22 at 10:30 am. They set that time and date. On the date and time of the pick up, they called to inform me that they would not pick up the broken treadmill until the new one was delivered. At this point, I presumed Mini Movers had notified the company of their breaking the part and telling me to refuse delivery -- this was not the case. They did not inform the company of the situation.I followed up with the treadmill company and they informed me that this particular model was a scrap and replace -- a whole new treadmill would be delivered not a new part. So I requested that the new treadmill be assembled and not a part removed to assemble the heap on my floor. Again, I'm thinking they informed the company of their negligence but that was not the case.They did not inform the company of the situation and when I followed up a month later as I had not been contacted by Mini Movers about a replacement delivery, the treadmill company said they had not been notified. The treadmill company has since sent a new treadmill and a different company will deliver and set up at my request. I paid $250 for the white glove treatment and was extremely disappointed that they broke my treadmill and left a mess for me to resolve.When trying to discuss with their representatives, I was met with unprofessional, rude behavior. They are not a good company and if you have a choice, choose someone else.
sams club has these people move for them when items com into Cincinnati , my order is to be delivered by Nov 23 2016 and they received my items and when called for the time they was coming they said it would be Dec 9 2016 , so if your in need of some thing on time this is not the place to use , and most of all don't buy from Sam's club because they will not do anything about it.
We had a horrible experience with them. I gave them a full inventory list of what I had. The movers loaded it on mostly. About 75% finished, they told me their truck was full and started to pull away. I had to pay someone else to get the remainder of my stuff. Would NOT reccommend
My husband I were so pleased to have done business with them in our recent move. They were on time, efficient, and very knowledgeable in just how to get things in and out of tight spaces. No damage occurred to furniture, walls, floors, etc. They were finished in less time than we had been originally quoted ,and the fees charged were less than other movers were charging. Moving companies aren't required to be an AMSA member, but the ones that are have committed to the association's rules and regulations, which protect both the companies and the consumers hiring them. If a company isn't an AMSA member, that doesn't mean it isn't reputable, but an AMSA membership is a clear indication of legitimacy.
