My daughter who is a student at University of Cincinnati visited this urgent care facility because the university medical center could not see her for about 5 hours. She paid the $45 co-pay and saw the Doctor, he looked in her throat and said she had strep. She dismissed that because her throat was not even hurting. He took her oxygen level and immediately told her she needed to go to ER because her oxygen level continued to drop and she needed a breathing treatment and they did not have a nebulizer. What urgent care does not have a nebulizer? What a waste of time and money!

Staff is friendly. Therapy department is amazing. Food is good. Facility is old but clean. New management staff making great changes.
I felt ripped off because I had to pay a $100 deposit (non-refundable) when the facility over-diagnosed me. They insisted that I take an ambulance to a hospital for a heart attack, because I had been treated before for chest pains and had stents. I even let them take an EKG, which turned up negative. I have never had a heart attack and (as I told them) I was not having heart problems. I was having chest muscle pains. So I left AMA because they would not treat my muscle spasms unless I went to an ER and was treated for a heart attack.. When I left and went to another urgent care facility (which listened to me) we discovered I had a broken rib and sprained chest muscles. In short, they overdiagnosed me and were not flexible enough to change when the evidence contradicted their diagnosis.
Top notch facility! Friendly, extremely knowledgeable staff, polite. Wait is always under 5 minutes, the doctors are all so nice and well trained. Highly recommend.
I was told I had only sprained my foot after x-rays and examination, but when I got a second opinion, it turned out to be broken in 4 places! Due to the mis-diagnosis from beechmont urgent care, I walked on a broken foot for 10 days!
This care center ripped me off and my insurance company (Humana) Before they would see me they said they could only give me a referral to a surgeon as they didn't do surgery at the their facility. That was fine by me. As it turned out, the referral was no good. They needed to attach a number to it, which they did NOT do. Now I have to go to another Dr. for a true referral. This is insurance fraud and my copay or $35 was wasted as well. I will report this to the insurance commission of the State of OHIO as fraud.
If your physicians office joins Chris Hospital Medical Associates find a new physician. Christ Hospital trains the staff to treat you like a computer. They usually have one main person who answers the phone. If you need something from your physician you get put in a computer or they tell you they have nobody who can help you. If you call 2-3 days in a row and hear nothing from your dr u will be told I put you in the computer I can't do anything else. Your dr already knows. If you choose to stay you find out your physician never knew at your next appointment but your physician doesn't want to hear about it. If you get upset cause you are sick they just hang up on you. Find yourself another physician because CHMA are the pits.
They have gotten worse since they have moved into their new building in West Chester.I had went to fill my last refill on a prescription through Kroger, Kroger called Group Health (Ronald Smith, Dr.) for unknown reason (maybe because it was Ativan) but Group Health said they were not filling it that I had to come in for an office visit to see Dr. Smith if I wanted to get it filled. Their reasoning was because my Doctor, Judy Lawson at Group Health retired and she is not there anymore and I needed to come in today. I told the nasty nurse that I didn't have time to come in TODAY and it's not my fault Judy Lawson retired and that I am owed that one last refill without having to come in. This place is trying to pay for that new building by denying people their med refills and making them come in to pay a doctor's visit so they can bill our insurance companies and suck the co-pays out of us.I am very upset over this, my whole family sees these doctors. I will be researching for a new practice for my family.Group Health will not see another dime from me!
easy registration and fast diagnosis/treatment. nice people too
They were awesome! They got me in and out quick and diagnosed my strep throat. Very thorough and got me on my way to feeling better fast!
