sorry communication, reluctant to present proof of insurance, breaks things and then gives you bs about fixing it, call a pro, let him sit in the tree scanning phone calls!
IEfinger landscaping from the start, would always be late. They gave a time and be 4 hours late and leave early. I would call to see if they were coming. They drove this old truck which leaked oil and ruined my driveway. OIL AND WOULD NOT CLEAN ITZ leaked oil on NEIGHBORS DRIVWAY WHOM I ASKED IF THEH COULD USE. Which caused an ordeal. Midway through the weeks of work they had an ordeal with one of their workers where someone called the police for fighting. I'm in the house and the police show up at my door. The straw that broke the camels back was 2 months after they finished we had a decent rain and due to the fact that they didn't run a long enough pipe washed out everything they did in the lower portion of landscape. I called them for 3 weeks straight every other day. Sometimes the office manager would pick up and sometimes not. She would say that she gave the message or going to give the message. Unprofessional!!!I finally talked to Bill and he said he was going to meet me one evening and go over everything. I had actually asked him to take a look at my chainsaw a few weeks bAck. I told him to call me when on his way. I was home all evening. So my wife comes home and says your chainsaw is outside shoved up against the garage door. I was like really. I was home all evening, someone came just dropped off chainsaw and didnt look at anything dealing with landscape. Unprofessional. I am a reasonable person. I was going to pay for additional materials to fix what needed to be fixed. All They needed to do was fix it. I called him to discuss and called him unprofessional and that I was really upset about this. I paid over 8000 total for this project and expected better service. He just hung up. I WOULDN'T HAVE HIM BACK AT MY HOUSE TO DO ANYTHING. First he would probably screw something up worse than what it was and cost me more money. DO NOT have these guys do any work. There work is suppose to be Warrantied for a year. Problems, problems, problems.
They came to deliver sand for our pool and ran over our portable basketball the driver actually got out of his truck and moved it then God only knows why proceed to run over it,there was no reason to even move it we live on an acre wide open, they have run me around to get estimates and now they say there not replacing it,small claims,if people don't start standing up and taking that company to court they will continue to treat people like crap.
I had used Blake's in the past to trim a big evergreen tree so contacted him last spring. He came out, looked at what I wanted done and left an estimate. I called him and left a message that the estimate was fine to go ahead. Never heard from him again. I left numerous voice messages and sent emails. Received no replies. Last voice message I left I said "hope everything is okay with you. I don't know what happened." In the meanwhile, shrubs, trees continued to grow.
Spent $9k on a wall last year that's already falling because they never put in a footer. They won't fix it. Go with the higher bid, don't choose Evans
I recently ordered an 8 yard truck load of gravel for my 100 ft. Driveway. I told the order taker lady over the phone that i wanted it tailgated (evenly poured) from end to end of my drive. She said the driver can do that and there would be an additional $10 fee. I agreed. When the driver arrived to my house with the load, i again went over with him how i wanted the gravel tailgated the 100 ft. Length of my drive. He understood, got back in his truck and proceeded. What happened next is he dumped the entire 16 tons of gravel in a 35 ft. Strip, 2 feet deep.He got out and immediately said "i thought it would go further than that" and "this is only my second time tailgating gravel".So i called up Evans to complain (twice) and explain the problem. I was told the most they can do is refund the $10 tailgating fee. Then he tells me i didnt ask for the gravel to be tailgated because its not on my ticket! Then i told him i definitely did ask for it both with the order taker and the driver. Then he tells me he will talk to the order taker and call me back which i never got a call back. Beware of this company. They want your business and your money but when you have a complaint they leave you high and dry!
Evans Landscaping Mulch is the worst mulch ever! Not only did I find shards of glass and ripped up black plastic bags throughout, but a couple of weeks after putting it down, all of my beds were absolutely covered in weeds! When you complain, they pretty much ignore you. The estimate was way off, too - they jack up the delivery fee. Do not buy from this company! Buyer beware...
I probably should have read reviews first. I have been waiting for a call from someone named ken for 3 days. I called to find out why my order wasn't put back to 4 yards in stead of six as I had called and told them to do. He pretty much called me a liar and said he would do some checking. Well in the meantime I did some checking to. Seems the same driver last year did the same to my neighbor. He had ordered 4 yards and they dumped 6 yds in his driveway. Never again. I always tried to support locals but next time I will just buy bags at lowes . Never again at Evans. If I could give a half star I would
As a landscape designer, Botanics makes me look good. I can always trust them to follow through with healthy plant material even in the roughest weather for my installations. It is an automatic that I call them first for landscape services.
